Again that is Paulos’s opinion which he is entitled to. The civil suit was disappointingly settled.

You'll fit in perfectly there. I don't call it "The People's Rebublik of Reddit" for no reason...

Tesla is the perfect toy for those virtue signaling climate alarmists who can afford them.

It was settled because they agreed with the judge that they made false claims and would likely pay more if trial continued.
    Lies have that effect.

Fox made no admission. They disappointingly settled out of court. As Professor Dershowitz stated Dominion suffered no damages and in effect benefited both monetarily and in public opinion from the settlement.

No. Intentional untruth, or as fox said, false claims is the contribution.

It's a lefty echo chamber. You want balance, go to X, formerly known as Twitter, though the discussion here is a tad more cerebral, at least some of the time. But, it sounds like you want the echo chamber.

And Suddenly, Gavin Newsom’s Electric Car Mandate Looks Pretty Dumb to LA Fire Victims

“No mocking these poor folks, America, because this Caltastrophe may have bought more time for the rest of the country to shout down the climate cultists in state houses across the country. California’s proof of concept showed that climate nirvana doesn’t protect the environment for humans.”

    I’m OK with more mocking.

'He'll save the inedible bait fish, the weed that no one's ever heard of, elevate meritless executives, and kill the gas car. Those are the highest environmental aspirations of Gavin Newsom, the alleged visionary governor of California, whose distorted priorities have combined to create the conditions for LA Inferno 2025. As the smoke begins to clear, the cruel environy is dawning.'

'Even now, the homeless LA gliteratti, who soon may be allowed to sift through the ashes of their homes in hopes of finding the gold coins that looters haven't dug up yet, wonder how they could have been so gullible. They bought Newsom's climate change diktats hook, line, and gas can, and now their electric car doesn't work. Their beloved Tesla and their neighbor's Nissan Leaf are charred carbon hulks considered by the environment police to be portable toxic waste dumps. I'm sorry, sir, and you can't move it until we've studied the environmental externalities of your charred car. Grab a number.'

Transportation Secretary Duffy Axes Biden CAFE Rules

Breaking: In his first action, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy axed Biden’s CAFE fuel economy standards that were seen by critics as a de facto EV mandate. Duffy said the rules had “needlessly driven up the cost of a car in order to push a radical Green New Deal agenda.”

    Green New Scam

'Under the Biden rules, the average U.S. fleet fuel economy would be forced to reach 58 miles per gallon by 2032. That means automakers would have had to double car fuel efficiency in just seven years or face major penalties. Automakers said the rules would cost them billions.'

Which means it costs US $Billions.

Transportation costs were up 31% under Bribed Joe

The new Energy Secretary is also a step in the right direction as Kim Strassel notes:

Since Ford is my hometown company and where I started my career, I've always had a soft spot for them. Their cautiousness regarding fully jumping on the EV bandwagon has always been, to me, a sign that they would probably survive the longest should the full mandated EV conversion come to fruition.

Then I really got a boost when, about 3 weeks after Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo was decided last June, Ford changed their mind and decided they were going to build their Oakville, Canada plant into the third North American truck plant instead of the originally planned EV plant.

    And now this;

You go boys! Go Ford! Go Lions! Go Tigers!

    Making Detroit great again!

    Wait 'til next year.

Oh, and it's Bob Seger's birthday.

Guess it's time for another glass of Glenmoragie to celebrate.
