Given that homosexuals in western democracies comprise only a percent or two of the population, the legislative gains made in the past few decades must have included the support of many, many heterosexuals. So, is this 'agenda' one particular to gays, or is it not more likely just an example of a greater extension of civil rights for all members of the society at large by people of good will?
