    OK, do you honestly think it would be appropriate to have people on the committee who actively pursued the overturning of the election? How could they be objective? Wouldn’t they have a vested interest in minimising any potentially illegality as findings of illegality could implicate them?

    No he couldn't he has no such authority over the Mayor or DC or Capital Hill officials. A President cannot just order federal military troops into domestic law enforcement. Get your facts straight.

    No more potential than other persons on the committee and Pelosi herself who should be called to testify. Should she have recused herself from picking the members because she should be a witness?

    Absurd. Unlike Trump, Gore didn't encourage his followers to march on the Capitol, nor did he try to get anyone to break the law, and when he lost, Gore didn't make a jackass out of himself by running around the country screaming he had won.
