Privilege is the way it is. You are not going to change it. It is human nature. You woke people can try to fight against human nature as much as you like but it's not going to work. People like attractive, smart, tall, athletic, personable, friendly, confident, successful people. Obviously, all people should be accepted for what they are, but this is the planet Earth, and people like what they like.

 

You're right. I am only talking about getting rid of white privilege. I'm just trying to get white people to acknowledge it exists.

 

Why don't you try to prove it instead of hectoring people about it?

 

Why don't you go to Japan or China and try to get rid of Asian privilege? And while you're at it, go to India and tell them, "no more advantages in this country if you are Indian."

but you denied white privilege being real. Of course being attractive is a privilege because we all agree attractive ppl are worthy of our attention but to think someone's skin colour determines whether you give them time or not is perverse. This is why white privilege is wrong.

 

Let's say a Black guy and a White guy [who are judged to have the same exact level of intelligence, attractiveness, personality, etc.] open a business in an area that is 90% Black. Who is going to do better? Is this not Black privilege?

 

I deny it the way that many people use the term. White privilege is the exact same as every other type of privilege, it just depends on where you are. I'll tell you one thing, though, who has gone to incredible lengths to minimize this effect like the White community? Has anybody else made any effort to minimize their privilege? How about more white NBA or NFL players? How would that work?

White privilege is not the same as others. It is bias towards an arbitrary principle in a multi cultural society, whereas being good looking is demonstrably a fact.

 

I'll tell you what, put all white ppl in the NBA and put all black ppl in government. Deal?

Problem then will be that USA won't be invading every continent on earth and supplying weapons of mass destruction to each and every despot. Bad news right?
