About muslim, I believe in the french republic and it's values : Freedom, equality, brotherhood. You will find that wrotten on almost every city hall, and a lot of old schools. At those three words, we can add a last one who have in France a lot of signifiance : secularity.

The heart of french republic is the school and that legend was born when school became mandatory around 1880. Every people who grow up in France have to learn something : you are first a french citizen. Just now, the thing who make France really sick is not muslims but corruption. Most of our politician use the state for their personnal benefit. The full integration of the muslims (a lot of them are now french for the 3rd generation) is a hard challenge but a reachable goal, but to reach that goal, we need an efficient administration and state.
