Except Trump used his personal money for payment while John Edwards used money given by one of his wealthy campaign donors.

You should read it yourself. Doesnt state what the other crime was. Bragg was asked why it wasnt in the indictment or statement of facts and said he didnt have to list the other charge.

I believe he would need to prove the other crime was committed in trial, without convicting him for the crime.

It is the same. Nothing wrong with a candidate giving personal money to someone else.

Trying him on federal crime for which he has no jurisdiction, Trump defending himself against a law for which he is not charged.

Declaring the payment as a business expense is tax fraud

There’s multiple payments. Cohen received payment from AMI also. That agreement was a crime and the subsequent laundering of the payment was a crime. IMO too much attention is being paid Daniels when McDougal may be more relevant

Rubbish. You can get your Wife that there will be pre-trial hearings well before then.

Nope. Trump has until Aug 8 to file any motions, which is submitting papers to the court, Prosecutor has until September 19th to submit his responses to any Trump motions then in December, the first pretrial hearing after the indictment the judge would likely rule on those motions. And then they could in december schedule a date to first begin the "trial", likely many months later than December. Likely September or October 2024, conveniently. They need the drama to continue through the November election.

You should google- trump indictment december- before you form such committed opinions regarding matters you know nothing about

I dont know. Did he even deduct it as a business expense? Part of payments were from the Trump trust, created to hold his assets while running and serving as President, not a business, dont know if such trusts even have "business expenses" to deduct, and I believe the later payments were from personal funds. Or you just assuming he did deduct as an expense?

Payments to sex workers for sex arent deductible. Payments to anyone to sign an NDA could be deductible. Their classification as a "sex worker" is irrelevant to the legal issue.

I did. What you copy and pasted confirms my statement and refutes yours. Did you have a relevant point? "Motions arent a part of the "trial"

Gawd...have it your way. I don't care. As I said, you can bet your Wife this will have pre-Trial motions dealt with prior to December 4..

Prosecutor doesnt need to even respond to any Trump pre trial motions until September 19th and the judge cant "deal" with pre-trial motions until the prosecutor has responded to them. And he has already decided he will need from Sept 19th to December 4th to consider any such motions or responses.
