That does not mean there are state laws in place either if that organization is located in that state. This is not an either or. Take kidnapping for instance. It can be either a state crime, a federal crime, or even both. And in a lot of cases, a kidnapper faces the same charge in both state and federal court. That is not double jeapordy because the Supreme Court has stated that federal court and state court are different jurisdictions.

Just because the federal government, the FEC/DOJ may not charge him or investigating him, that does not mean the state cannot do so if it violated state law. Falsifying business records is a state crime. The violation can either be a misdemeanor or a felony. For a felony, it has to be proven his intent to violate other laws whether or not the person has been charged or not, investigated or not, etc.

 

Those very same people they represent pretty much told them not to ban abortion, which also means not to make any law to put women's health at risk. Personally, I think if you ban abortion, you also need to ban vasectomies and other medical procedures that help a man's libido. Equal protection under the law so to speak.

How about equal protection for the life that is taken in an abortion if you want to make it about equal rights, but there are plenty of threads in the Abortion section. I reject the premise of you argument that he skirted some case of violating the law. What crime did he commit that he skirted the law and please be specific?

You see the imbalance in my system of justice is that your are innocent until proven guilty. The imbalance is that someone can't decide they simply do not like someone so they run for a public office and use that office to persecute them for their own political purposes.

I wasn’t complaining about ‘bad luck’. I was responding to the taunt that it has taken a very long time for The Stain to have been brought up on charges. I explained why this is often the case for those who can buy or influence their way out of being held accountable….

Not everyone, for example, has the resources to take their case on appeal right through to the Supreme Court, when they want to delay the process…

Hold someone accountable for investigations that went down the toilet's? Why would you hold someone accountable when they have never been charged with anything? Held accountable how and by whom?

 

Then why do they pay almost 90% of income tax revenue while the lower 50% pays pratically nothing and in fact MAKES money off the tax system?
