The Necessity of Abortion

It continually astounds me that people have been so willing to hand over the ownership of their own lives to the state. Abortion, marriage equality have absolutely no place in government.

Unless you are the pregnant woman, there is nothing that makes this your business.

Many of the world's problems would go POOF! and disappear if the rabid "christian" RWNJ would MYOB.

 

And its not. Or at least, poor women don't!

For a woman to get an abortion, she must first

Get time off from work.
Get child care.
Get a ride with someone who can get time off from work AND child care.
Pay for that person's child care and reimburse for child care.
Drive to the clinic/hospital, often in another state.
Buy the gas to drive to another state.
Pay to stay in a hotel.
Pay for her driver to stay in the hotel.
Pay for food for them both.
That's not all of it and this is BEFORE the abortion.

And the states that care about human life will stop the actions of such murders. If you want to kill someone, and your own kid no less, I hope you die of infection from the back alley abortion. You had sex, now be responsible for your actions. That's what they tell the fathers with forced child support, so equality is only fair.

 

There are already far too many humans living on earth. That and economic conditions being what they are, women should average no more than two children - the replacement rate. There are only so many resources that the earth can provide. Adding more people can only degrade life on earth for all of us. Birth control options and use have been increasing but it is always good to have readily available the birth control of last resort, abortion.

I agree. the baby is not a person, and neither were the Jews, Russian, Chinese which have been slaughtered. And medical care is not a constitutional guarantee either.

Many women do but NO ONE is obligated to use birth control, NO one is obligated to put drugs or foreign objects in their bodies.

Yes , for some women a baby would be a great inconvenience...but they can end the life of a fetus if they choose to.

The only reason for an abortion is that it would be inconvenient to gestate.

And the abortion process I described is hardly the truth? Its called vacuum aspiration look it up. A late term fetus is too big to fit in the vacuum so they have to cut it up first. I wont post a link because of how horrific it is, but Google a couple abortion videos. You'll find the real graphic ones in no time. You support it i figure you should know what it looks like.

 

But DNA does not define or determine life. There is human DNA on the average doorknob. The argument against abortion is that it is wrong to take a human life without due process. Which then raises the debated question of when a fetus is a human life. There are a number of ways to look at that question. Most, but not all, science says that is when the fetus develops distinctly human brain waves which is where human characteristics are clearly distinguished from other animals. This is usually around 5 (4 to 6) months. Incidentally this happens to roughly coincide with the biblical determination of when a woman was pregnant -- at quickening.
