A private for profit business is not a religious entity at all.

Why doesn't the poster I was responding to provide one for his opinion about the right? In the meantime are you denying the left wants no restriction and more open and available abortion? Please point to me where I have missed the left wanting to restrict abortion.

And WHAT was so ignorant about the statement? Was it the..... pay for your own birth control? Cause progressives typically balk at having to pay for something unless it's with someone else's money.

Birth control benefits society, helps the economy. If men can get Viagra from their health coverage, why shouldn't women get contraceptives. Give me one good reason.

Yes, because women, have sex with themselves, right. If men would learn to control their "libido" maybe women wouldn't need contraceptives.

Learn to keep your tiny head behind your zipper and women won't need to use contraceptives.

Once again, you seem to be looking into BLOGGERS for your answers…and that is a FALSE resource.
Unless bloggers use REAL, FACTUAL, links, what they say is as worthy as a vague "opinion," NOTHING more!

It would behoove you to start ignoring what "forum members" say. . .if they don't provide a valid, factual link, and go directly to the source. And it is obvious that some members spend their time giving "opinions" as "facts!"

You're too smart to fall for that. . .but then again, when it is anything related to Palin, you seem to forget about "reality!"

They are paying for it when they pay their insurance premiums, just like men whose equipment has malfunctioned get Viagra through their insurance.

I love libs on this argument. When it comes to Capital punishment they fight with every cell in their bodies to keep those death row killers from being executed as they think that is barbaric. The same people....the very saaaame people use those same brain cells to champion the brutal killing of the unborn. Great fascinating stuff. Part of the brain disagrees with the other part but the two parts are incapable of processing the difference.

Why don't you follow the rules and provide a link proving that he was wrong else admit you are trolling?

Why don't you follow the rules and provide a link that "Birth control is nothing more than a straw man used by silly extreme republicans to fight Obamacare. " else admit you are trolling?

If you remove "the pro-life right" from that number, "the left" kills many babies.

For all I've read, the LEFT is very satisfied with the CURRENT law, which puts restriction after 16 to 20 weeks, UNLESS there is a dire danger for the woman or the fetus is very damaged.

All I see is the RIGHT (and only extremists on the Right) wanting to put MORE restrictions on EVERY WOMAN, no matter how early the women decides to terminate a pregnancy.

This is NOT an issue brought about by the Left. . .it is an issue that is obsessing for the EXTREME RIGHT. The law is in place to control abortions to a reasonable, logical level. I don't want "more," and I do not want hyper religious zealots to dictate LESS.

Thinking about birth control doesn't really cut it. Perhaps we've found out why we have so many unplanned pregnancies.

Bwahahaha......I didn't realize Virginia's ex-governor was a progressive.....he sure seems to be in a lot of trouble for getting a lot of stuff he didn't have to pay for....you might want to rethink that statement....:)

    And that makes you happy?
You REALLY believe that picture and that comment are an expression of REALITY?

    That is so funny!

Now. . .try to be real and honest, and replace your "fairy tale" picture with this one:

    Anencephalis.jpg

    or even this one:

    http://www.medicinenet.com/fetal_development_pictures_slideshow/article.htm

For your information, just in case you don't realize this, NONE of the babies shown in your picture were ever aborted!

    Get real!

Viagra corrects and treats a medical problem, when hormone therapy for women is needed in is covered. Women can get viagra also to help with sexual MEDICAL PROBLEMS.

Please abide by the rules and provide a link to support your claim "the LEFT is very satisfied with the CURRENT law," else are you just trolling?

Please point me to where the last time the left support a restriction on abortion and dropped their demand that government pay for it for poor women giving them more access. Show me where they have dropped the lawsuit to prohibit people trying to talk women out of abortions. Show me where the left supports PSA and other public campaigns showing the results of an abortion which might dissuade some women from getting one.

What medical problem? That the equipment that gets women pregnant doesn't function anymore? I would think if your party wants less abortions, that they would welcome anything that would preclude pregnancies. And, FYI, contraceptives are also prescribed to help women with other medical problems....maybe if you would avail yourself of the information, your party members wouldn't be spouting such ignorant statements.

Ah, so you agree religious institution should get the exclusion but why wouldn't the business owners who are morally opposed for religious reasons?????

Should they have their first amendment rights nullified?

Comparing birth control and Viagra isn't a logical argument to begin with.

Viagra enhances the ability to bear a child.

    Birth control inhibits it.......
Well, the simple fact is, until they come out with the men's pill? Women have by far the most effective birth control there is assuming they're responsible enough to take it as prescribed........

Well, I can't help it when women are on their knees begging for it.

The problem with the right is that they aren't satisfied with the "current" restrictions in most states, they want to do away with Roe v Wade altogether....their inane bills declaring a fertilized egg as a "person" is on example, as for wanting a link......well, here it is....New York even.....now who's trolling?

This view badly misunderstands American abortion politics. While a clear majority of Americans want abortion to be legal in some fashion, a solid majority also energetically support more restrictions. This has been reflected in state abortion legislation—which has been overwhelmingly in favor of abortion restrictions—and has several more restrictive bills in the pipeline. One of the few attempts to expand abortion access was recently defeated even in the liberal state of New York, where legislators rejected Governor Cuomo’s attempt to expand access to late term abortion.

As a poor defenseless American woman, I can't tell you how good it feels to be taken care of by my govt. Heaven only knows us girls don't have sense enough to take care of ourselves.

Them mean ole Republicans need stop...

Wait. What is it they need to stop doing?

Silly lil ole me can't think unless some smart liberal man is telling me what to do. [IMG]

Exactly, and so you want a country that is overrun with unwanted births? I guess since your party is wanting to do away with Welfare and Food Stamps, the fact that more children will be without access to food and healthcare is fine with you, right, so why should you care how many babies are born.

Well, that certainly gets you and all men of the hook, doesn't it. Why should you and Huckabee worry about it, it's a woman's responsibility, right. Well, maybe if men learned to control their equipment, we wouldn't need contraceptives.

Dream on.....you're probably having to pay for it.

Business owners are morally opposed to it for religious reasons? Maybe these business owners need to practice abstinence.....if they are so against it.

Insurance companies providing contraceptives doesn't force Business owners to use them themselves, or their wives. So, that's a wash. Contraceptives doesn't keep anyone from practicing their religion....the fact is that these greedy business owners are just looking for a way to say another buck, typical Republican/conservatives.
