The republicans war on women continues

He probably isn't lying, because he believes he saw it somewhere. Which is probably true. In his mind that is. But here in lies the problem with the right. They truly believe their own BS is really true. I was thinking about making a thread about this phenomenon. Pay attention to some of the different OP'S from the republicans on this forum. They have a very similar pattern, most of them. The titles from most, are totally ridiculous from the start. They make their cases, but there are hardly any that are truly based on factual information. They really just end up being hyperbole rants, that are never broken down factually, that they themselves can prove. Example; they make some wild accusation about Obama, but you never see the link that actually supports their accusation. It always ends up being just an opinion. in the end. But, at the same time, they have conditioned themselves to truly believe their own nonsense. They hear something negative about Obama from any source, then run with it like it's the gospel. It's quite disturbing that so many, because of their hate for this president, let any tidbit of misinformation grab the nucleus of their brains only to send that information flowing onto this forum. And that has been the pattern.

Trig PalinIn stunningly self-centered, cruel fashion, Nicholas Provenzo, writer for the Center for the Advancement of Capitalism suggests that Sarah Palin’s decision to give birth to a child with Down Syndrome, is a financial burden that others are forced to suffer with.

Provenzo, who has written opinion pieces for the Washington Times, Capitalism Magazine, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution, as well as being a guest on Bill Maher’s former show, Politically Incorrect, makes his case for “the morality of aborting a fetus diagnosed with Down syndrome.”

The full first paragraph of the piece which is circulating amidst the blogosphere reads (emphasis mine):

Like many, I am troubled by the implications of Alaska governor and Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin's decision to knowingly give birth to a child disabled with Down syndrome. Given that Palin's decision is being celebrated in some quarters, it is crucial to reaffirm the morality of aborting a fetus diagnosed with Down syndrome (or by extension, any unborn fetus)—a freedom that anti-abortion advocates seek to deny.


Morally justifiable reasons for killing a baby? There is no justifiable reason for taking any child's life, and to call it a moral obligation to society is undeniably one of the more disgusting things to be written by a human being, about another human being.

There is some question as to who's baby it is. Was it from Palin's boyfriend, her husband, or her daughters child? And as far as the child goes, Palin called him a retard, and that is good enough for me to understand that she had him to parade on the stage while running for office. He is probably kept in a dark closet and drug out just before guests arrive,

 

No and you know that. But the baby has all that it needs to to live. All it needs is to grow.

Now I just posted a second one where they said Palin should have aborted the baby. Did I tell the truth or not? If you always tell the truth, you can't get in trouble.

If you were able to structure a coherent grammatically correct post, you might have picked up on the fact that your post said exactly what you were trying not to say.

He, (meaning Huckabee), was bashing democrats for being condescending towards women by telling them, (them meaning the women), they needed democrats to provide them with birth control. If Huckabee told women they needed democrats for contraception, that "is" condescending towards women. Or do you have a mind that is unable to comprehend what you typed is exactly what I was saying? That was a good one there.

 

As you see sir, I didn't give out any mis information. Everything I said was the truth. I don't bash the President for no good reason. You will never see a post of mine where I have ever called the man a name. If I bash him it's for something I feel he did wrong and I'll explain it. If he does something I loke, I'll give him credit for it and have several times. I have even got on Republicans for bashing him for something that isn't his fault. I have spent over a week arguing with my own fellow Republicans over Obama bailing out GM. I don't bash just to bash. When I do it, I have a very good reason.

 

Its called the right wing bubble, they only get information from their own sources everything else is "left wing marxist" or "communist propaganda", they only speak to other just like them, Anything anti-Obama or anti-Democrat is immediate presented as proven fact. You saw evidence of the bubble with the 2012 elections, they were truly stunned that "unskewed polls" were wrong and wrong by a large margin.

We ALREADY have "FREE" birth control..... Stop by ANY abortion clinic but ONCE AGAIN..... that relies on the individual being RESPONSIBLE to begin with WHICH IS THE PROBLEM.

 

It's no different with the Left sir. How many times have you had either the Left or Right bashing themselves? That just very seldom happens. They only thing they do is bash the other side. What is important is not where the information comes from, but is it true? That's what you want to find out. If it is, there will, or should be several sources. The only real problem as I discovered with Palin and about them condemning her for having her baby, is that many of the sources I read back then are no longer up. I find that quite often when it goes back to far. I could care less where the sourse comes from. I care about the truth of the source.

 

And he was wrong! He insulted women and just proved the Democrats were right about the Republicans being totally out of touch with women's needs and their issues.

Women are PAYING for their health care, just as much as men are. They have received some coverage for birth control for MANY years, because it is obviously more beneficial for health care industry to partially cover birth control than it is for them to cover birth related procedures. NO ONE had an issue with this, until the fake "outrage" of the Right.

Birth control is nothing more than a straw man used by silly extreme republicans to fight Obamacare. It is not related to ANY real issue.

YOU don't have a RIGHT to FORCE a religious entity(pass a law) to provide something they're MORALLY against. That's NOT FREEDOM. Read the first amendment.

Freedom is the ability for you to go anywhere you want and pay for your own birth control which YOU HAVE NOW.

The only argument you might have, is if the hormones are used to control a different medical condition. I wouldn't have any problem with an exception on said issue.

 

I watched the video in your link. Huckabee did not say anything similar to what you claim. I guess you skipped the very short bit of video of Huckabee speaking and only watched Odonnel. Next time get the facts first, then start an OP.
