Why should I provide facts to you? You are triggered by facts and truth. You are allergic to the statement of facts that don't comport with the propaganda you buy. Presenting facts to you is a waste of time.

Regardless of any official designation at the time, those involved were acting on behalf of Russia and pro-Russian separatists.

So after Ukraine failed to pin a missile strike on the Russians in order to drag Europe into war, now they are coming with the same nonsense of "Russian made missiles" to do the same with an ancient story.

    Lol.

Ukrainians just keep lying for their propaganda.

If you read the article it said two Russian soldiers and a Donbass separatist.

Like I mentioned, Julius Rosenberg was a member of the US Army when he passed nuclear secrets to the Soviets. Does that make the US Army culpable in Julius' activities?

From the beginning, there were 2 suspects; Ukraine and Russia. Only one of the suspects (Ukraine) was given a seat on the joint investigative committee. Not only was it allowed to investigate a crime in which it was a suspect, it was given veto power over what would be allowed into evidence and what evidence would be publicized.

Anyone that doesn't see what's wrong with this is asking to be fed bullshit.

The propaganda starts with a lie. If it was a BUK missile, it was Soviet-made. Ukraine was Soviet also. But whatever brought it down, the government of Malaysia doesn't believe the Dutch court's findings.

MH17 trial: 3 suspects convicted over role in 2014 crash

". . . . Two of the convicted are Russian, including Igor Girkin, the former "defense minister" of the self-declared "People's Republic of Donetsk." The 51-year-old is a former colonel in Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB), and is reportedly involved in Russia's current war in Ukraine.

The second Russian convicted was one of Girkin's subordinates, Major General Sergey Dubinsky.

The third person convicted is Ukrainian national Leonid Kharchenko, who allegedly led a pro-Russian rebel combat unit and took orders directly from Dubinsky.

Girkin, Dubinsky and Kharchenko were subsequently sentenced to life in prison. The men remain fugitives and are believed to be in Russia, which is unlikely to extradite them. . . .

In another significant development, the judges ruled that MH17 crashed due to being hit by a Russian-made missile that was fired from a field in eastern Ukraine. The ruling confirms the findings by international investigators.

The judges further found that Russia had "control" over separatists in eastern Ukraine in 2014. . . . "

You're implying, incorrectly, that former or current soldiers in the Russian Army were involved in the taking down of the plane so the Russian gov't, for example, must also be involved in the taking down of the plane...Your analysis is absurd.

Using your analysis, Julius Rosenberg was working with the American gov't when Rosenberg passed nuclear secrets to the USSR in 1950 'cause Rosenberg was a member of the US Army at the time he passed nuclear secrets to the USSR.

So what? Can't the former or current members of the Russian Army, for example, also violate their oath?

They were and they were found guilty by the court based upon the undeniable evidence of their guilt. Plus the plane was shot down by a new variant of the anti-aircraft system only used by the Russian Army and no one else. Fact.

    (1) Being a member of the Russian Army doesn't mean the Russian gov't was implicit in the shootdown.
    (2) You're sure only the Russian Army has this variant and only the Russian Army can use this variant?
