People are already dying due to not getting routine care because everyone is panicked over covid19.

The death toll from other causes brought on due to covid19 panic more than likely is more than even the inflated covid19 death toll.

That's conveniently being totally ignored by the media but it's a very big and developing story.

That is definitely not being ignored, but those are all harms that can be traced directly and indirectly to the virus.

No, they have nothing to do with the virus.

This is going to come out as a major scandal down the road.

Millions are not having surgeries and necessary care due to fear mongering over the covid19.

The wave of deaths from neglect because medical care for them was put on hold is going to ramp up and become a far greater crisis than the virus itself.

You mean to the overreaction to the virus. Hospitals are laying staff off, why should routine medical procedures not be done?

It was a conspiracy theory that premeditated fraud was committed on the FISA court and that exculpatory evidence was altered, until the IG Report came out.

It is reasonable to conclude that suicide will increase, see the Psychology Today article. For every 1% rise in unemployment the suicide rate goes up .8%.

No kidding, in 1929 things were different than in 1928.

    Sweden is proving you wrong.

If we hadn't locked down, the whole country would be like New York, and New Yorks itself would have been overwhelmed and hospitals would be turning dying people away.

I did not say any of that. If you are going to misrepresent what I said don't respond at all.

People are not upset because they cannot get a hair cut or hamburger. They are upset because they can not work and pay their mortgage, but food etc. But as some people make a living cutting hair or serving hamburgers they are of course linked.

You are weakly trying to deflect from this fundamental fact by throwing out strawmen about “spoilt” people wanting haircuts and burgers.

Its not going to work. The Doom and Gloom party the left wants to continue is ending at last.
    Conjecture.

You state it as a matter of fact because you believe it and models “predicted it”, and nothing ease. And we have all seen how accurate these models have been.

You know what is not conjecture? 30 million people out of work.

People overlook a huge and very relevant fact:

    "models" are NOT predictions.

But be careful using Google as you are likely to get results that favor the Left.
Google has no legal obligation to present any information other than that which Google believes to be true or is relevant.

Tell us how many deaths in NewYork were attributed to COVID19, that were never even tested for COVID19 ?

Because you cannot answer that question, your entire statement become pure speculation.

    Exactly.
For me, the point is that there are quite a few events the left calls "Conspiracy theory" that eventually prove to be fact.

The list of events the left has labeled conspiracy that were later proven to be anything but, is long and growing.

You could start by explaining the increase in total deaths in New York for April compared to previous years?

The only number I have seen is deaths per cases. It is 5.9%.
I guess there are some that have symptoms that don't get tested and some that have no symptoms that still get tested.

No we wouldn't, how could WY ever be like NY? NYC needed a lock down, but they had a unique case combining very high density and Europeans coming into JFK and La Guardia and using the subway and ubers, seeding the virus. That and very bad local management.

The MA is decreasing, and we never got as high as 3000 deaths per day.

We'll never know exactly how things would have gone without the shutdown regarding total deaths.

I don't feel like reading 5 pages of the thread, but I hope somebody pointed out the idiocy of comparing a national pandemic to shark attacks...

That's a non-answer. I have followed this data for more than 6 weeks. I have tracked the data myself for five weeks. Where is the mortality rate "pretty much established at 3% for those who are symptomatic?"

When hospitals permit normal visitation policies to resume, then you can be reasonably comfortable with the notion that medical staff no longer view this virus as a significant threat.

Sweden is doing worse, both in terms of this virus and its economy, than its neighbors.
