    When did you care about someone's feelings? How much does a sin weigh? Didn't Jesus go to heaven or was God not there when he arrived? How can there be any separation when Jesus and god are the same.

    It's also one of the more blatant examples of poor translation by scribes since Lucifer is clearly a Latin word with no equivalent in Hebrew.

    You do realize that Trump is trying to equate himself as Jesus, right?

    Second, Trump is trying to get the evangelicals back on his side now that they are wavering for his support. But that won't work either.

    Finally, as far as the US greatness is concerned, it was about ideals, more specifically, the Age of Englightenment Ideals, and the progressive nature of this country, especially from 1865 to the 1930s.

    A hypocritical circle jerk .. playing two sides of fence .. in one case God intervenes .. in the other God is all hands off. Can't have it both ways Padre .. doesn't work that way. If Tim Tebow gonna "Praise Jesus .. Praise Jesus .. Praise Jesus" when he gets a touchdown .. then he shold be "Curse Jesus .. Curse Jesus .. Curse Jesus" when he gets the big Sack attack.

    Yeah, I don't get that kind of mental disconnect. On my son's football team there are parents who pray before each game that our team wins. Well, if our team wins, the other team must lose. Didn't parents on the other team also pray for THEIR team to win? Why would god favor our team over the other? Maybe the other team didn't pray hard enough? If that's the case, god is pretty petty in dishing out his rewards or punishments.
