    Completely WRONG.

    "apoplectic"? :roflol:

    Not even close.:bored:

Trump can fire Fauci at any time, as long as he is ready to handle the blowback.

Fauchi is a doctor and all his advice centers around saving lives.
Trump is the president and his job is to keep the economy moving which will save 100x more lives than the Chinese virus.

Agreed. Apoplectic is too mild a term. The left biased media is hysterical over this.

Why would Trump fire one of his medical experts who is serving on the Open Our Country Council. He brings an informed opinion to the table. He trusted the Red Chinese and WHO for too long but so did many others around the world. The only countries which did not believe the lies were those in very close proximity - South Korea, Taiwan (whom the WHO refused to acknowledge the existence of - curious?), and Singapore.

Yes, both are saving lives. And both the medical and economic advisors will have input into the plan to roll out the start up of the US economy.

if Trump had Trump ordered supplies earlier things would be better, rather then play it down

but i won't give him too hard of time, were not the only country that failed to see this early on

and yes, experts told Trump and the WHO to shut down, but realistically, that was a hard choice and had to be 100% sure before doing that - remember the WHO shut down last time and got reamed for the economic consequences, so even they were gun shy

    just Trump can't admit it

just say it was a hard choice, and we did not take it lightly and it took us some time

as for supplies, all Trump had to do is say I tried to order, but I was having the same luck the states were, but he can't admit it

the reality is, we get most of our goods from China, China was having their own issues... thus no one could get supplies, same reason store shelves were bare

I hope we learn from this that we should not have all out eggs in one basket... China for goods or India for our IT

Trump listened to his medical experts who listened to the Red Chinese and WHO who were dishonestly reporting what was happening, dishonestly claimed that the virus was not capable of transfer human to human, dishonestly claimed that travel bans were not necessary, and would not allow US scientists in and forced reporters out of Red China. Where is Ai Fen ??

Trump should probably clean house among the Task Force (And get rid of Fauci, Birx, Etc.)

And then replace them with Kayleigh McEnany and Trish Regan.

That way, Trump could receive the Confirmation Bias (that his IMBECILIC Brain so desperately craves).

It would be easier to name the News shows Fauci has not been on the been on...

To claim he cant speak is insane he has been plastered on the TV for months day in and day out.

yes, he did, and the experts were conflicted, including economic experts.... Trump is the decider though, all he had to say was it was a hard choice and he did not take it lightly and it took him some time

Trump also dishonestly reported the status of the virus, Trump's excuse was he is a cheerleader - we want the facts, not someone to lie to us

China, WHO and Trump responded badly with 20\20 hindsight, this we can all agree

Thank you. I read through several articles and they all led to the same tweet in which he said nothing about firing Fauci. This hating on Trump stuff is driving me nuts. I do not like him, but WTF?

This partisan nonsense has to stop. All presidents do actual things that deserve criticism. There is no reason whatsoever to make stuff up or twist something into something it's not.

Dr. Fauci was on many of the news channel shows this weekend. And he speaks often at the daily briefings. Why are you claiming he is not able to spea ??

How long after Dr. Fauci stated on 2/29 that the US had nothing to worry about did it take for Trump to act ?? How did Trump dishonestly report the status of the virus ??

How did Trump respond badly ?? He implemented the travel ban and then took direction from his medical experts.

"So the topic is that Trump retweeted something from a person (DeAnna Lorraine) who clarified that yesterday Fauci said we "could have" saved lives if we acted earlier even though Fauci said on February 29th (44 days ago) that no one needs to change behavior "right now"."

even if Fauci said that doesn't change the facts, had we responded sooner, we could have had better result

had a person in a crash stopped sooner, may have been less severe - hindsight is 20\20 - all he is saying is if we knew what we know now, sure, we could have done things differently - that is almost always true, but in this case, the President has a fragile ego

Trump has no reason to apologize to anybody.
No City, No County or Parish, State or Government Worldwide Was Prepared for a Response to the Coronavirus. To say Otherwise is Just a Lie

did I say otherwise? we are talking future tense, as in if Trump removes him... let's hope that does not happen

do you agree that he should not be removed?

Haha. So the media can cherry pick his words and make up headlines like, "Trump Could Have Saved Lives By Acting Earlier Says Fauci" but not relate the context or the history. o_O

I don't think Fauci should be fired. It doesn't look like Trump thinks Fauci should be fired either.

Trump's response to the re-Tweet was about media reporting bias, not about Fauci.

Fauci's job is to save lives "at all costs", given the Hippocratic oath.
Trump's job is to save lives, but also to minimize economic damage and decide where that tolerable balance should be.

where did I say Trump should apologize to anybody, you're reading what you want to hear, rather then the words in the post

2nd part of your post, you are even agreeing with what I said, lol

Trump failed to do it, the states failed to do it, it could not be done.... all Trump has to do is say I tried to order supplies and could not get them, ran into the same issues as the states (that assumes he tried like he said he was)

it's Trump's trying to gaslight the people that gets him in trouble

For this? No.. For some of his connections to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and conflict of interest.. Perhaps..

Travel restrictions (not a total ban) with China happened January 31st, against the recommendation of the WHO.

February 29th, Fauci was saying that the virus was not that communicable. He wasn't necessarily lying. That's what he knew, or at least that's what China and the WHO were saying at the time.

agree, and that is why Trump took awhile to make the choices he made, this was not an easy choice, but he needs to just say that, not try to gaslight people

had he not downplayed it early on repeatedly, it woudl be easier for him

President Trump is only a source of trouble for the malcontents. For the rest of us, he is doing as well as expected at managing this unforeseen event.
