    GM autoworkers average $58 per hour. The $16 per hour is to show that Trump accomplished something with Mexico, like
    the Mexico paying for the wall thing.

    I see that you are an early bird like me. I don't agree with your assessment. Some Canadians don't like us and it has nothing to do with their politics. I have friends that live there and according to them, It has to do with the ugly American thing. When I was traveling in Europe, I discovered that Europeans dislike Canadians for the same reason.

    From where? Not from Canada.
    I think they should give into U.S. "demands" and simply duplicate our farm subsidies. It would likely reduce our market share in Canada.
    When you look at their marketing boards and our farm subsidies, it brings on a headache.

    "No cards to play?" Canada has 37m people and the largest supply of raw materials in the world after our reliable friend, Russia. China is actively trying to make a trade deal with Canada.

    Canadians disliked all those politicians I mentioned, until Kennedy was assassinated. Canadians have not changed all that much. Read what many were saying about the original NAFTA when Mulroney was negotiating with Reagan and how the US was going to steal all of Canada's water. Desoitte this they still seemed to feel Reagan was a bozo and Mulroney a traitor.
