You got stats to back that up?
That's just typical leftist ideology which says that people shouldn't have to assimilate, accepting the culture that they're in.

Do you insist that American Jews "assimilate"?

If you go to an Arab country Islam sets the tone of the culture. In America Christianity sets the tone of the culture and I'd like to keep it that way.

Why is "white" a defining factor in the debate? Oh yeah, the race card

Good scapegoat!!!! Good for you! A "way out" for Christians.

However, your little saying applies to EVERYONE not just Christians....,.so when you claim the "left" is destroying Christmas or anything else you just made a point that you can't lump them altogether. :)

NOW, here's the deal. Christians do NOT own the United States of America.

    Repeat that until fully understood.

YES, the clerk has to accept the culture it's in by following it's employer's directives.

The "left" does not say that people shouldn't have to assimilate.

But it does believe that ALL AMERICANS should be respected...YOU and Christians don't believe that....

"Yes shall know them by their fruit" is from the bible and is specifically pertinent to those pretending to be Christians.

    Matthew 7:16-20King James Version (KJV)
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

"Jesus' words here are a powerful warning that there are many who come in His name who are actively seeking to lead us away from the truth, and we are to be on guard against this threat. Wolves are not a thing that sheep should only concern themselves with when things get obviously bad. Sheep must always be alert and ready for such predators. And if the wolves can dress up as sheep, the threat becomes infinitely more severe. Jesus chose very strong words here to emphasize our need to be ever vigilant against a subtle but hostile threat to us and our brothers and sisters in Christ."

Oh, look, a preacher who thinks if you scream loud enough and often enough it will be true.

    and avoids the obvious:

Just trying to educate you on what the Bible says about those you spoke of who turn Christmas into greed and gluttony. When you use fake Christian's as examples of Christianity you have been fooled by wolves in sheep's clothing.

That's kind of funny. The whole GOP is actually a wolf in sheep's clothing. They cater to their base, the rich (which by the way Jesus said would not go to heaven), while they pretend that their antisocial policies will somehow help the poor. They are a threat alright.

:) Ya sure, even though your Jesus said NO one is without sin, YOU object and say that if someone sins they're "fake " Christians....defying Jesus' words.

NO, you are using that as an EXCUSE....

BTW, what the bible says has no meaning for me like what Jesus said has no meaning for you.

Christians do NOT own the United States of America.

Seems to me that particular myth is based simply on corporations being so damned politically correct that they've taken to avoiding mentioning Christmas by name, trying desperately to avoid controversy and be all-inclusive (with "happy holidays"). Since then, obviously idiots and trolls have tried to claim this is part of some anti-Christian conspiracy, because of course.

Christmas has always been more or less that - a festive celebration far removed from modern America's rather puritanical conservative versions of Christianity. The conservative Christians have simply failed to rob it of these trappings despite their enduring efforts to co-opt that ancient holiday, which of course pre-dates Christianity and has been celebrated widely (being a winter solstice celebration) among northern cultures since time immemorial.

Of course, the bible contains precisely nothing about Christmas. There was no such holiday in Judea when biblical texts were written. Christians actually have no legitimate claim to Yuletide/Saturnalia/Winter Solstice. Maybe you should just give it up, maybe take up celebrating Christ's birth in early January, when the Eastern Orthodox Christians do.

In fact, most Christmas traditions were imported from Germany, where it was originally a pagan holiday. If someone would like to promote Christianity, they should rather focus on Easter, the most important Christian holiday.

Of course, Easter is not a time to make sales and profit, so Americans get zero days off for Easter. So much for respecting Christian ideals.

In Germany, Good Friday and Easter Monday are both public holidays. Two additional days off, however, would make workers lazy and cut too much into profits, so it won't be tolerated by the capitalistic free market. Just think about the lost sales during additional holidays.

No you keep just saying we're suffering. Are we staving to death? In physical pain? Suffer is a strong word, what is actually happening that is bad? Behaviors? What result are you seeing from not saying merry Christmas?

Yeah....I'm sure people are thinking about Jesus while standing in long lines fighting each others over overpriced items they don't need. It's became a commercial holiday loooooong ago. Note none of you have clearly stated what this "war" is about, what you have "lost" and what the end game is. All you've done so far is trolling.

Oh. I noticed today that Roger Goodel pretty much gave Trump the middle finger. So much for "winning" that battle.

Apparently you didn't read and or comprehend my previous answer. I said society suffers as a whole when Christian values that are what this country is based on are delegated to the same level as all the other holidays. Just as Islam shapes countries where that is the primary religion Christianity and it's values shape ours. If we allow other cultures to bring their way of doing things into our country instead of them assimilating to ours it won't be long until it will not be frowned on to stone to death women who cheat on their husbands, kill gays, burn wives alive for whatever reason you deem fit, have sex with children etc. We need to keep our Christian heritage intact to keep our country what it is.

Don't pretend your anti-Semitism is implied by my statement. It's the behavior I find deplorable, not their race or religion, which has nothing to do with it when it comes to Judaism. People that aren't ignorant know full well that Judaism teaches charity, good works and service to your fellow humanity.
