So charge him with first degree Orange Oaf.

You might still get a conviction in Manhattan on that.

Anything to deflect consideration of Trump's actions?

I think your Trump defense suffers too much whataboutism.

The DOJ indicted him, charged him, went to trial, was found guilty in the first trial. Edwards appealed, won the appeal, had a new trial, and was found not guilty. But in all, it was not the FEC that did this, it was the DOJ that indicted him and charged him in both counts of the trial. The FEC is not a criminal investigative agency, only the DOJ and the FBI are, the rest are regulatory agencies of some sort, even the ones that have a small section of Special Agents, of which the FEC has none.

    Details, details, details.

I'm not sure if the hush money alone would normally be considered prostitution. Even if he weren't running, it would be a crime to record it as a business expense, which he also did. But since he was running and the payment was a week before the election, it definitely matters if he made similar payments to his other mistresses if he's going to claim he would have made the payment even if he hadn't run when it comes to campaign expenditure charges.

    1. There is no such thing as "whataboutism." It's simply a dumb (very dumb) talking point that means "don't look at my hypocrisy, only yours"

    2. Edwards is the closest case to the one you are trying to make for Trump. Can you think of a more relevant one?

Well, there's at least one more he paid off when he was running. And again, please look at the word "if" that I used.

    Non sequitur.

Why are you casually dismissing the trauma he may have cause two dozen or more women?

It isn't meaningless if you know what the word "if" means. I'm not sure why you are having trouble understanding the sentence. I can try to make it simpler.

Is there evidence to bring charges? If so, why hasn't it been done?

Given that you haven't made a good point in this thread yet is reason enough to not worry about any attempt to restate your points.

I'm not sure what you weren't able to understand about the simple concept, but you do you.

Yeah, yeah, yeah! The only thing that the left gets is some headlines, same game they have been playing for over 6 years.

There's a reason why Trump's defenders can never discuss any of these details of any of these cases and resort to bumper-stick style slogans instead.

He's been accused of criminal activity. Do you refer to everyone that's charged with a crime as a criminal? If you're asked to serve on a jury be sure to let the defense lawyers in on that. You'll be excused in a heartbeat from jury duty.
Have you ever heard of the Constitutional right to a speedy trial? Part of that is getting the accused to a trial as quickly as possible in the first place, instead of letting the accused hang out there in limbo. The slang term for this is: **** or get off the pot.

    Really?

    whataboutism
    noun
    what·about·ism ˌ(h)wä-tə-ˈbau̇-ˌti-zəm
    ˌ(h)wə-

    plural whataboutisms
: the act or practice of responding to an accusation of wrongdoing by claiming that an offense committed by another is similar or worse
The exchange is indicative of a rhetorical strategy known as whataboutism, which occurs when officials implicated in wrongdoing whip out a counter-example of a similar abuse from the accusing country, with the goal of undermining the legitimacy of the criticism itself.—Olga Khazan

By whataboutism I mean the way any discussion can be short-circuited by saying "but what about x???" where x is usually something that's not really equivalent but is close enough to turn the conversation into mush.—Touré

    also : the response itself
They accomplish it by muddying the waters and distracting from international criticisms with whataboutisms such as telling the world that there's nothing exceptional about America. —Alex Zeldin

    called also (chiefly British) whataboutery

    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/whataboutism
As I said, I think Trump should be charged with rape.

Because they are all BS. You know how to beat him? Run some sane candidates, some that still believe in this country and as it was founded.

Merriam Webster also has a definition for ghosts

    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ghosts

They are as unreal as whataboutism

I'm not sure what your imaginary rape charges have to do with this thread. I imagine it's when fantasy and posting collide.

He's already been beat before. What happened? He lied about the election being stolen and his cultists bolstered his lies. And a schizophrenic gerbil on meth would be a more sane candidate than Trump.

Nothing here... move along.. nothing political at all... 99% failure rate.
Bragg was most recently a chief deputy attorney general at the New York Attorney General’s Office where he says he helped sue the Trump administration more than 100 times, and led the team that sued the Donald J. Trump Foundation, resulting in Trump personally paying $2 million to an array of charities and the foundation being dissolved.
