The only thing broken with our system is that we have instituted too much socialism into a capitalist system. Capitalism did not fail Socialism failed. Capitalism is the only thing that has kept this economy going.

I Find it hilarious that these geniuses want socialism so incredibly bad but they absolutely refuse to go live in a socialist country.

They just want to screw up our country and then once it is undeniable that socialism has absolutely destroyed the economy these folks will be nowhere to be found. They will leave the conservative capitalist to clean up their mess and clean it up we will. Because capitalism, unlike socialism, is the only viable long-term economic option. Period. (And that's one of those real periods, not an Obama one)

Why do you keep shilling this movie? At least push the "corporation" that is a pro communist movie too, and only half as boring. Besides this movie of yours can be seen for free on youtube you can embed it in your posts.

You hate the Koch brothers because they sell useful oil and not crappy solar panels huh? Or because they have pledged most of their wealth to charity?

Will you give as much as a % to charity as they? A total figure? So why all the hate towards them? MSNBC told you so?

It move to one of the many communes/socialist enclaves that already exist here. I have lived on one. That ought to straighten these people out. But that requires work and you can't steal from rich people. In their "revolution" they get all the stuff from rich people and life is easy. They may even have "power". Lol...

The scary things is how they can word distort. They do this cronyist socialism = capitalism thing that is confusing the dim witted people

Never has been but a mighty good way to make sure you are in poverty and even a job that itself doesn't pay more than the poverty is a great start towards one that does.

But can you give me some specific examples of how an ultra-rich person screwed you and why did you let them do so?

Ayn Rand would not advocate the corporatist relationship between government and the "ultra-rich" that enriches both at our expense. Your OP is flawed.

I was bringing up the extreme to show my point: nobody wants complete equality. To some degree the rich will always control the working class. Money is power. Now, whether the rich have absolute control over the working-class depends on how the rich use their money. If the working class wants money, they'll do what the people who have the money tell them. Even though this injustice exists, we all still prefer this over communism. We can put limits to how much the rich can control the poor, but in the end the control will still exist.

Well, wait now. Nearly enough gas money to get back and forth to work, maybe buy a lunch once a week, with enough left over for Ramen noodles (assuming you have any time to slip by Walmart on your way in between jobs to buy some), COULD BE generated with a second or third job. If not, there's always medicare, if you're lucky enough to work at McDonalds. They'll even help you sign up!

You don't become a billionaire by being a doctor. By suing doctors, maybe....
The problem is, medical association licensing does not certify competence. It just restricts supply. If it was to certify competence, then practicing doctors would have to re-certify periodically by passing the same test used to certify new candidates.

I'm wondering whether you were on Earth in 2008, when the entire Western economy crashed. Are you saying socialism was to blame for that?

Nevermind. Keep drinking your Kool-Aid. I'm sure it's tasty.

True; Republicans, especially, seem to forget that many of the worst villains in "Atlas Shrugged" were businessmen.

Pledged most their wealth to charity LMAO on that one .Watch "PARK AVENUE " while every billionaire in the building gives a 1000$ bonus each Christmas to the doormen that help him load his 3 vehicles for the weekends each weekend Mr. Koch gives them a 50$ check and never tips. They say he never even speaks to them except to give them instructions .in other words he treats them like dirt under his feet !!!

Sounds like with all the smack they talk about him he should tip less then $50.

Your obsession with this documentary is odd. It sucked. Even as far as Marxist nonsense usually does.

I can see you dodged all questions and points shown to you.

But aren't you crying about getting a "livable wage"? Having one full and one part time job puts you well above the "livable wage" income level. What's the problem? Ohhhhh you don't want to actually put in the work for it. You just want it handed to you because you have an entitlement mentality.

You don't actually want to work to improve your lot in life. You just want to steal it from the rich.

You don't seem to understand what social capitalism is.

You also don't seem to understand that the USA has always had a 'socialist' element. In fact, many social programs were created after capitalism's failures (like the New Deal during the Great Depression).

You also don't seem to understand that many of the most prosperous countries on Earth rely heavily on social programs. Luxemburg is a very prosperous and very socialist economy.

Just because people want more socialism in a capitalist society doesn't mean that they want to live in a socialist country.

keep enjoying that "let them eat cake" mentality while you can because it won't be able to hold off an angry, poor, majority much longer.

it surely was not free markets, unless you can explain to me how letting a small system of bankers control the money supply while simultaneously running up several hundred trillion dollars in highly leveraged dollar based derivatives products, mostly interest rate and mortgage backed swaps that ultimately unraveled and froze up global credit markets, is a "free market".

the rich screw everyone when you allow government to legislate the screwing. But as long as you look to politicians for solutions, they will gladly slip you some table scraps from the bounty you have provided them, and a jar of Vaseline to help ease your pain.
