What makes you think we haven't attempted a coup in Russia?

    https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/...ause-of-the-plane-crash-that-killed-prigozhin

"MOSCOW (AP) — 'Deliberate wrongdoing' is among the possible causes of the plane crash that killed Russian mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin last week, the Kremlin’s spokesperson said Wednesday."

That is the question to you, rather than to me, why all americans lie. I have no idea. Maybe because this is in their genes - to lie.

Ah yes, of course. Killing a known rival of Putin's sounds like a great way to get rid of him.

Of course. All opposition in Russia is systematically repressed and dismantled, its leaders killed or imprisoned.

    We don't lie....

That's a RuZZki character trait....to lie and deceive. It's part of your Asiatic gene pool.....that your distant forefather....Genghis Khan passed down.

You should run that by Zelensky:

    https://thehill.com/policy/internat...prigozhin-probes-show-russians-are-skeptical/

"Putin bearing responsibility was the least likely explanation promoted in Russian discourse, the FilterLabs.AI analysis noted.

"Blaming Ukraine, which Russia invaded in February 2022, was the most dominant theory — even as Putin and other Russian officials have held back from assigning Kyiv as the culprit.

"Teubner said it’s in Putin’s interest not to signal Ukraine could have successfully carried out an operation to assassinate Prigozhin, whose mercenary group is responsible for countless killings in that country.

"Russian discourse" is a mere inventory of lies.

What happens to Ukrainian opposition parties?
If you object to political prisoners in Russia, why are you supporting a corrupt US puppet in Kiev?

    https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2022/06/23/hxae-j23.html

"A Ukrainian court has officially banned the activities of the country’s largest opposition party, the Opposition Platform—For Life party.

"The decision was handed down by the Administrative Court of Appeals No. 8 on June 20 in Lviv and effectively upheld President Volodymyr Zelensky’s banning of 11 political parties that Kiev regarded as 'anti-Ukrainian' and 'collaborationists' earlier in March.

"The measure was then approved by the Ukrainian parliament in May

"Ten other pro-Russian and left-wing parties were included in Zelensky’s ban, among them the Socialist Party of Ukraine and the Party of Shariy led by the popular Youtube blogger Anatoly Shariy.

"In addition to legally banning the party’s activities, the court also stated that the party’s property and assets will be confiscated by the State Treasury."

It's sad how well Kremlin propaganda and misinformation works, honestly. The Soviets excelled at public manipulation and the KGB boomer regime in the Kremlin now has perfected it with the help of the internet. 1984 has come true in Russia, which is ironic since 1984 was also inspired by the Stalinist USSR.

Even with this, Ukraine is nowhere near as bad as Russia. Watch for such policies to be reversed once the existential threat to Ukraine's existence as an independent state posed by the invading fascist regime next door has subsided.

Worry more about American ambitions, arrogance and impunity

    https://www.military.com/daily-news...s-wwii-event-west-waging-real-war-russia.html

"Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday told his country’s traditional Victory Day parade on Moscow’s Red Square that the West’s 'untamed ambitions, arrogance and impunity' are driving 'a real war' against Russia, while the Kremlin’s forces fired another cruise missile barrage at Ukraine.

"'Today civilization is once again at a decisive turning point,' Putin said at the annual commemorations celebrating the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II. 'A real war has been unleashed against our Motherland.'"

The US-supported fascist government in Kiev is NOT a reliable indicator of democracy:

    https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2022/03/23/ukr--m23.html

"Images of people being tied to poles and subsequently beaten and humiliated have spread on social media in recent weeks as far-right vigilante forces run amok throughout the country now entering its fourth week of a disastrous NATO-provoked war with Russia.

"In several videos the tying up and beating of Ukrainian citizens is performed by regular Ukrainian Armed Forces members, suggesting that legal and civil rights have been effectively abandoned in a country that is supposedly a pinnacle of European 'democracy' compared to the 'totalitarian' Putin regime."

Orwell warned about literary censorship wherever it occurred, including England:

    https://orwellsociety.com/chomsky-orwell-and-the-myth-of-press-freedom/

"The sinister fact about literary censorship in England is that it is largely voluntary.

"Unpopular ideas can be silenced, and inconvenient facts kept dark, without the need for any official ban. … The British press is extremely centralized, and most of it is owned by wealthy men who have every motive to be dishonest on certain important topics.

"But the same kind of veiled censorship also operates in books and periodicals, as well as in plays, films and radio.

"At any given moment there is an orthodoxy, a body of ideas which it is assumed that all right-thinking people will accept without question."

Ukraine is the same corrupt oligarchy it has always been; it will not get better when the coup government in Kiev gets replaced after losing Donbass and Crimea.
