What’s funny is the left will tell us that illegals are the backbone of our economy and they’ll do the jobs Americans won’t do. The left says illegals lower our crime rate which means they come here and literally get jobs to survive instead of committing crimes. Yet they’ll tell us that one group of people, a specific group and only that specific group, can’t make it on their own without help. If the illegal Latinx can do it, why not people who have the advantage of being American citizens who speak English and have an education?

Equally and without discrimination. If two individuals or families are below the poverty line and social services is allocating money then the determination needs to be made strictly based on circumstances if there is only enough money to help one. The race of the people involved should have zero bearing on the decision whatsoever.

Discrimination is illegal and this should be struck down by every court in the land immediately. No, attempting to legalize modern discrimination as a means to combat historical discrimination is not the solution nor is it morally right or legal. California and all of these so called social justice warriors need to cut this nonsense out. What's the long term solution then? Playing ping pong for the rest of our countries existence? Legally discriminate in favor of minorities for the new few years while discriminating against white people so that white people become the marginalized then use the same programs to help the now marginalized white people in the future?

They keep pretending there is some "success criteria" for nonsense like this but nobody can ever actually define what it is. When will it be "ok" to stop this sort of thing? When are black and "marginalized" peoples circumstances as a whole considered "good enough" and "fair?" Is it when X amount of black people have jobs? X amount of black people make X amount of money? X amount of black people are in college? Sure plenty of SJW's will claim yes to those things, "when" that happens it's success. But nobody can actually solve for X because nobody knows what X is. And based on the trends I've seen regarding this sort of ideology even if they did reach X it STILL wouldn't be good enough because nothing is ever good enough.

There's never enough "representation". I've seen a total of like 1 white person in the past 20 commercials on TV yet if a movie is released about historical Scandinavian Vikings and there are no brown people in it then the SJW's throw a fit. Black Americans are currently attending higher education at historical record numbers yet we're still fussing and discriminating against the likes of Asians in favor of black people in good schools. When are black and other so called "marginalized" people considered equal? Anybody?

That's absolutely what they believe - because they regard black Americans as weak and helpless, and under the control of white people like themselves. If that ain't white supremacy, I don't know what is.

To be fair, this new degradation has been largely imposed upon them by 21stC racists. They've been agitated to resentment, anger, and dependence. Perfect vehicles for disenfranchisement!

I can give plenty of examples of what I'm sure they're talking about from members of my own family.

    DeShawn
    Jaisean (Jason)
    Rashad
    D'Andrae

Not "ethically" black names per say but names that one would read and logically conclude are probably black people.

What folks refuse to acknowledge, either intentionally or unintentionally, is the fact that maybe, just maybe, many black people are just not qualified for the position for whatever reason hence being hired at a lower rate vs the default "simply because HR assumes they're black". Granted I'm sure there is some of that going on in the world but I'd wager to bet it's nowhere near as prevalent as it's being made out to be. Hence the reason why there is now a push in some areas to bar employers from utilizing background checks during the hiring process due to "unfair discrimination against POC's".

So if "DeShawn" isn't hired folks tend to automatically default to it's because his name is DeShawn instead of the fact that statistically speaking "DeShawn" has a higher chance of having a criminal record than "Shawn" who was the next application in the stack. Not the case 100% of the time obviously but as folks who know me know I shoot from the hip. Reality is A LOT of young black people have records unfortunately and that's the truth so if you aren't hired it's likely due to that rather than you having a name that is difficult to figure out how to pronounce. It also has a lot to do with the interview. I used to work HR decades ago and again the truth is many young black people tend to not carry themselves in a professional manner. Unfortunately a lot of it has to do with upbringing and just an overall lack of education on social etiquette. First impressions are everything.

As one who used to hire folks for jobs as a waiter in a restaurant I needed to hire people who's literal job was to be the front lines servicing our customers and setting the representation for our restaurant. This sort of thing happened all the time back in my home town, if you show up to a job interview with a rugged appearance and talking to me like I'm one of your buddies on the block then I'm sorry but I can't in good conscience put you in front of customers to serve them. There were plenty of times where this exact thing happened and I've turned people away. There were 2 specific cases I remember where after the interview I met with the kitchen manager and said hey the guy seems like he would be a hard worker but not exactly somebody we want out front engaging with customers. You have any positions open for him in the kitchen? They did.

Now many will argue that in itself is racist, "trying to hide them out of sight" or whatever or that the way they spoke or carried themselves is a reflection of black "culture" that needs to be accepted. But no, customer service is a huge deal in any business and if I didn't feel you could positively serve the customers then I don't want you serving the customers and harming the business. And this is by no means unique to one particular race either. I grew up in the deep south and there were PLENTY of white rednecks trying to get hired as waiters who I tossed in the kitchen too for the exact same reason. This was a high-end(ish) restaurant thaat served high-end(ish) customers, to get hired on to serve them you needed to be able to carry yourself a certain way and that has absolutely nothing to do with your race and everything to do with the way you acted. We had black waiters, I was one of them and so was a good friend of mine. Him and I didn't "act" like that.

Not nearly as 'ugly' as fostering dissolution.

In fact Steve's cruel-to-be-kind is far less ugly.

"wokeness" and it's destroying everything. They just had a drag queen at the White House to dance for children. They don't care what is legal or what is illegal, as long as they are not subject to the laws and rules and they are protected. Racist policy? Who cares, they are fighting racism by being racist. There will be a black female on the SCOTUS. They literally laid out a racist policy and followed it. If you complain, they will label you as a racist.

And Conservatives allow themselves to be called racists and do nothing at all about it but cast their eyes to the ground and complain in the shadows. Meanwhile the the word racist has been overblown to such a hilarious level at this point that I saw an article the other day titled "Why young men of color are joining white supremacist groups" lol....Because that somehow makes sense...

Where are the Conservative's with fortitude? I always hear Conservatives equating themselves to the Colonists who rebelled against the British Crown or the courage of the men who stormed Omaha Beach. Or being the modern hardened blue collar workers who work the mines and drive the trucks and farm the land and join the military and fight the wars and do all of the backbreaking "real work" while the Left is painted as the Starbucks barista boy who needs a break every 20 mins and safe zones in college because life is so hard.

Yet somebody calls a Conservative a racist and they crumble like wet toilet paper and start tripping over themselves. Where are the Conservatives with the strength to stand up and look a person in the eyes who calls them a racist and give the the middle finger directly to their face without remorse or apology? The Left will get on national television and call you a bigot and a racist and tell you and your entire ideology to go pound sand.

So as with everything else, the reason why the Left has no problem calling any and everything racist and bigoted and hateful is because they know Conservatives won't do anything about it.

I guarantee you there aren't thousands of Conservatives marching on city hall right now in San Francisco with bullhorns and signs calling this bill racist against white people. Of course not because Conservatives "are too busy going to work and raising a family to be bothered with such trivial things".

The closest a movement came to doing something about it was by the people who went to The Capital on 1/6 to protest what they see as a rigged election that Trump won in a landslide. Republicans did nothing to help them that day nor have they done anything to help them since. You are right, they stare at the ground and allow the far left to do whatever it wants, both inside and outside of the realm of what is actually legal. They are holding people in solitary confinment who still have not gone to trial, for no reason, other than, they can. Very few are actually speaking out about another perversion of our justice system.

If this were reversed and the far left though Trump had rigged an election or abused his office and spied on a political candidate, the left would have burned the Capital to the ground and they would have gotten away with it as Mayor's and others on the left celebrated the complete destruction. It's a two tier justice system and it will never end until the corruption is rooted out and the Republicans actually get control of The DOJ, The DC courts and The FBI. All of these institutions need to stop catering to the far left and abusing their offices. They need to mitigate the law equally and they need to stop breaking it, themselves. They have been getting away with it for a long time and they enjoy their protection. Oversight does no good when it has no teeth and can be ignored.

Odd how the media appears to go along with all of it. Our media is now just a propaganda outlet for the government.

Our media is pure propaganda at this point but once again Conservatives do themselves no favors by being so passive and timid. J6 was dumb in my opinion but the media and the Left are going to forever exaggerate that as a failed modern day Reichstag Fire Decree. And they will forever use that to paint every single Conservative protest of any sort as akin to J6 that they have grossly exaggerated hoping to intimidate Conservatives from gathering en-masse again for anything. The only way that works is if Conservatives CARE what these people think. And care they do, big time.

If Conservatives gather en-masse and protest this decision at city hall in SF or protest the capital in Sacramento then they will call you a J6'er and a racist and a bigot and a nazi and whatever else. WHO CARES? They call you that anyway even if you don't do anything. California supposedly has the most Republicans of any state in America even though the place is deeply blue so where are they? What are California Republicans going to DO about this blatantly racist and discriminatory piece of legislation? I'll tell you what they will do, they will sit back and say "I hope the courts will strike this down there is no way this is legal". California has a history of just doing whatever they hell it wants regardless of the Constitution or morality or legality. Hoping that the courts will side with the law in California is hilarious at this point. I'm not saying go out and riot and break things, in fact I'm saying specifically don't do that. Go out and protest it's your Constitutional Right. In spite of what so many Hank Hill Republicans think you do have more rights to express your discontent than simply "hopefully voting these people out next election cycle" or "writing a strongly worded letter to your Congressman".

The Left doesn't even always break the rules they simply use the tools at their disposal. You are ALLOWED to protest peacefully and be civilly annoying as hell which is what the Left does (even though it's not always peaceful, don't imitate the non peaceful rioting they do). The Right writes strongly worded letters and votes and calls their congressman to "tell that son of a gun how I feel about this!".

If this were reversed and a bill was passed to give white people free money and nobody else then guess who would be on in the streets at 7am tomorrow morning to the tune of thousands with signs and bullhorns? The Left. Hell they're so damn good at it they have drums in their formations calling cadence tunes at this point, literally. But by all means Republicans, write your letters and make your phone calls, that'll show em!

At a certain point continuously taking the moral high ground while systematically being punched in the face doesn't make you the bigger man or adult in the room anymore. It just makes you the dummy who is standing there getting punched in the face.

The other issue is that Conservatives don't have the protection of a judicial system that plays fair and even handed. Someone prosecuted on 1/6 for merely being on The Capital steps gets prison. Instead of a judge looking at this and saying this is sheer madness to send an old Grandmother to prison for this, they read her the riot act, call her all sorts of names and a traitor to the country and assign a prison sentence. It's almost impossible to try and form a protest when things like this take place. On the other hand, a Capital Police Officer shoots a woman in cold blood and he is given immunity. He was black and she was white. Reverse races and parties and he never sees the light of day ever again. If it was Democrats storming The Capital after Trump won, nobody would be doing prison time. Media, government offcials and supporters would be laughing hysterically that people broke into Conservatives offices and made away with "momentos" and other items. The situation would be completely reversed and they would be viwed as upset Americans excersing their rights, justfully!

It's just insane the two tier justice system. This is not why I served my country for so long, or why I fought in wars at her request and to honor my duty. My fiends and fellow warriors didn't fight and die for this. The exact opposite, in fact. It's disgusting to see what they have done. It's disgusting to see how far things have fallen off the cliff.

There is one point you are driving home though and I wanted to make sure you know I agree with you: Conservatives are not doing anything. Or not enough to reverse the damage being done. Elon is a good first step in turning a lifelong Democrat into someone who fianlly woke up and said this can no longer be tolerated. We need a million more like him and then 10 million after that.

I hear what you're saying, I really do, and I agree with you. This is NOT what I serve my country for so long for either. But here is my question which I will admit is a difficult one. In the face of a blatantly unfair biased two tier judicial system and a pop culture driven society that calls you names for simply existing I understand that doing "something" is challenging at the moment and it seems like it may not be the right time. My question then is WHEN is the right time? Is it AFTER the point of no return? Is it AFTER laws are implemented to arrest you for wrong think? AFTER the feds ban your guns? AFTER you are arrested for refusing to transgender your 5 year old because he thinks he's a she? AFTER your white children can't get a job or accepted into any college because of the color of their skin? AFTER you are arrested for speaking out against giving black people free money and arguing it should be for all peoples? As you said, they arrested a GRANDMOTHER for merely being on the steps of the Capital and put her in prison.

History and science have always been my favorite subjects and hobbies to study and regardless of the country or time period whenever totalitarianism rears it's head the question is always the same. HOW did this happen? The answer is simple, fear and the boiled frog analogy. Slowly and steadily one at a time your rights are removed, your traditions are replaced, your culture is changed, slowly and steadily. Then one day you notice something is different and at that point it's already too late.

One day it'll get bad to the point where there will be a mob of angry violent rioters in your yard threatening you to take down your American flag hanging from your home as a show of support for their cause. They have bricks and bats and molotov cocktails in their hands. Your wife and children are inside. You grab your firearm and brandish it at the mob in an attempt to shew them away and call the cops for help. The cops that you support because you "back the blue" show up to your home and arrest.....YOU. And you ask them wait a minute I'm being threatened in my home look outside at this mob, my wife and children are in here I need help why are you arresting me this is America! Yup, this is America.

One day....just kidding, that already happened. How much more "bad" does it need to get before Conservatives are willing to do something as simple as protesting against something as blatantly racist and illegal as this California bill? How much longer will they continue to just sit there and get boiled alive because society isn't fair towards them anymore and they are afraid? If they aren't willing to do anything now when the heat is still on medium relatively speaking then what the hell do they think they're going to do when the burner is on full blast in a few years?

In my opinion, the right time to start would have been when Devin Nunes came to the White House to meet with President Trump showing him proof that The FBI/DOJ/CIA and other actors under Trump were trying to set him up with Russian Collusion. With the proper Special Council and appointments the entire corrupt system could have been gutted. It would have been difficult to start but once a few dominos fell, others would keep giving information to save themselves. Republicans, with the exception of a few didn't have the stomach for it or feared the reprisals from the left would be worse than anything they could exact. None of them had the true leadership or they were also involved and were protecting themselves. That golden opportunity has long since gone. Trump took the corruption of the US government and the Democrats and put it on full display.

Fast forward to today and I think the right time to start will be in a few years. Hopefully Ron DeSantis wins the election and starts to get to work on destroying the corruption and the bad actors inside the government. Joe Biden and his DOJ are going after Trump hard and they will get the prosecution and the jail sentence they want because it is rigged and everyone knows it. I am guessing, indirectly, Trump will cause another major movement to start by his persecution. Out of the race it will clear DeSantis to get elected and that will be the best thing for Trump and for America.

I don’t see another path forward. The slow decline of society and the move to an elitist ultra rich with a huge swath of the population very poor needs to end quickly before it’s too late. I have always thought one thing about Republicans: I never thought they understood the fight they were in and the stakes. They always acted like it was a game and that things would swing to and fro. However, the left, far left, has always been in it to win at all costs.

The left will never reach across the aisle and work with Republicans on things that really matter because The Democrats want complete and total power and they do not want Republicans around at all. This is something Republicans still do not understand at all.

They better wake up before it’s too late because the clock is running out and it will be too late before they can do anything about it.
