Yep. He even failed to get the domestically produced masks into the hands of healthcare workers as my links show. How crazy is that? Nurses re-using masks for months when there are millions of brand new ones on shelves. Fauci and the Biden administration wouldn’t lift a finger to help healthcare workers. That’s who Fauci claimed to be trying to help with his first mask lies. Turns out he won’t help them get masks that are sitting around without buyers. Crazy.

edit, found the first picture was actually a video and what he said was fine, he did not say that n95 should not be worn, just that he was ok with the other masks and would have less compliance, what he said was ok

in this case Fauci was honest, in the previous admin, Fauci outright lied about masks - he lied I will admit for a good reason under Trump, there was a shortage, but that said, lying only hurts credibility in the future, be it Trump or Fauci doing the lying - and both needed that future credibility, especially in times of crisis like this, I could not trust that Fauci would not lie to me again if he felt it was for the general good of all, I think he would

No, what he said is direct denial of known empirical evidence. His job is to inform Americans how best to protect themselves and others. He has done the opposite under two administrations. Fauci once claimed Americans should save N95 masks for healthcare workers because they were in short supply. Now that they are plentiful he will not help healthcare workers or normal Americans protect themselves.

What if we had two vaccines available in the US. One protected 97% of vaccinees from infection. The other protected 60% of vaccinees. Both were safe. Both were readily available to anyone who wanted them. Neither had serious side effects. But Trump was going around telling people to take the 60% effective vaccine and that Americans don’t need the 97% effective vaccine. Then he told everyone they were the same, but still recommended the 60% effective vaccine. Millions of individuals were infected and thousands died because everyone took his advice. What would you think of Trump acting in this manner?

Please explain, if the long list of Fauci’s lies I provided you with were Trump’s idea and not Fauci’s, why didn’t Fauci correct the disinformation he supplied under Trump when Biden kept him on as top adviser? Why has he not informed you all those things he said under Trump were wrong and dangerous and we now need to follow science? Shouldn’t he tell the truth now? Why do you idolize a man that would lie for two presidents in a row if all he is doing is the will of the presidents? Why defend a man who won’t to this day give you correct information he withheld from you under Trump?

I’ve been asking you for months to supply some evidence any of these lies were Trump’s idea and not Fauci’s idea. So far you have only made unsubstantiated claims. You can provide no evidence Trump even knows enough about virology or epidemiology to formulate such lies. If they really are Trump’s lies, why did you fall for all of them? Is Trump that smart that he made you and everyone else believe cloth masks are as good as N95 masks? Is Trump so sharp of wit that he convinced you to wear masks in places the risk of infection is nearly zero but to not wear one where the average American is most likely to be infected?
