Vaccination after infection? Help me understand.

So, you typically argue in good faith, so I'll go a little long form and open with you.

First, the left doesn't have anything close to approaching a trump. That was the first thing that sent me running from the right. And to be honest, embracing anything like a trump is reason enough to disavow any ideology. Along the same line, there is nothing on the left remotely resembling a taylor-greene. Or, for that matter, a matt gaetz, devin nunez, ron johnson...etc And, I've been pretty angry at how unseriously folks have been taking my country by supporting these jokers.

Next, covid came to this country, and it took some time to learn everything about the disease, and we still don't know everything. But, at a certain point, one side of the aisle wanted to do what we could to protect humans from covid. The other side not only didn't help, but actively worked against the lives of human lives, not just in this country but around the world. Not only early on, but throughout the pandemic. Not only throughout the pandemic, but even after the vaccine came out. There are some stragglers on one side or the other, but almost exclusively, one side of the political isle wanted to straight up murder innocent Americans. Not just murder them, but torture them to death. This infuriated me to where I can't see straight. It completely destroyed my image of America. And the blame falls almost entirely on one side of the political isle.

Also, one party lost an election, and tried to end elections. Not just through a stupid and incompetent insurrection, but they did absolutely everything they could to invalidate the will of the American people by literally trying to get states to simply change the results. Had that ONE side succeeded, this country would have ended. They didn't but in the meantime have been working very hard to change the people and processes that kept them from unilaterally installing a dictator and ending the United States of America. I am of course mother******ng livid about that.

One side also packed the supreme court and the rest of the judicial system, effectively invalidating any call for 'law an order.' There is no equivalent on the left for this either.

Each of these are things that would (probably justifiably) lead us to bomb another country. The two sides are not the same. Not even close. I wish this was more like a football game, but it isn't. One side is objectively trying to kill this country (while on the surface yelling about how patriotic they are). The other is a lukewarm advocate for the survival of this country.

To be clear, the democrats aren't perfect Americans, they aren't absolute patriots. It's like corruption. Is there corruption in germany? Absolutely! Does it compare to corruption in burundi? No, not even to the slightest degree. Could a politician in burundi point to corruption in germany and say "hey, both of our countries have corruption and could point to each other. Why pick on only one?" They could, and you could pretend that is a valid argument to ignore not only corruption in burundi, but also in germany. You could say "hey, we need to treat these two countries as equal. We must assume that the corruption is equal in both countries, so any investigations into one country more than the other shows bias, and that is a bigger problem."

Ok, there is an intersting problem where you try to determine the costal area of a country. If you draw a straight line from the northwest corner to the southwest corner, you get one measurement, but if you include the curves of the land, the area increases, and if you include the area of every grain of sand you can increase the costal area to a near infinite area. I feel like I could do the same here, but I'll leave it with this very very rough estimation.

The point is that I started with two premises: I love this country, and I want to be a good person. Using either principal, I can't look at a trumpist republican as anything more than a terrorist or nazi. In fact, I know actual (WWII) nazis that are disgusted with the current republican party.

 

You really think that's true? You think I somehow without ever visiting the states, I nailed down exactly what an anti-vaxxer anti-masker was? You think somehow I just imagined to a perfect degree how much you are a killer? How you are worse than any jihadist? Tell me how I was so accurate.

 

Again, even using the stupidest most outlandish argumetns you think are true. It's STILL stupid not to get a vaccine. The numbers don't add up even in the most tinfoil hat regime. You want to kill Americans. You don't want to get a shot because it is more important that you not be inconvenienced than humans live. You are a killer like isis. Just own up to being a terrorist. You are a killer. I won't pretend that it's ok if you are just honest, but terrorists aren't quite the killers you are, and they are honest about it. You are a liar and a killer.

 

This sort of nonsense disqualifies you from any consideration as a rational, reasoned person.
