Are you implying that it was improper for the Colonel to speak to the whistleblower about the call?

LTC Vidman is a patriot, and we will need people like him and the other state department patriots who testified against Trump, to help rebuild our state department and our country's reputation once Trump and his cronies are gone!

I don't think that telling the truth is covered by that.

Same thing. And same answer. But firing one little "official channel" person isn't going to be enough.

This is not the first time the NSC has tried to take control of the White House and Presidency. It's a FISA-like threat to our Republic. Get rid of it while we're at it.

What, exactly, did he do that you consider treasonous?

The left has claimed every Republican president since Eisenhower was a “dictator”.

That shtick is getting so old.

Yes(especially if the whistleblower was out of government. That's another separate can of worms right there.) But whether it was to the WB or the WB via the WP, the man not only acted in subordination but he also leaked classified information.

He's only a pariah among those who want to remove the President. For those who want to protect the Presidency, he just furthered the understanding of the "deep state".

This is immensely hypocritical coming from a liberal.

Where have you been for the last 3 years? Didn't you know about the pee tape, Putin, Russia, Mueller, German banks, taxes, Stormy Daniels, Russian mafia, the impeachment fiasco, etc? And Nadler promised even more crosshairs.

You don't need people you can trust as advisors. You need people who are good at their jobs, which by all accounts, the Colonel was. I'd suspect that the President has no idea who a lot of the staff people actually are much less speaks directly with them.

What are the laws? Because he is a military aide, there go
he subjected to military law(UCMJ). I'd imagine that JAG/CID is going to be looking at him very soon. On top of that, he leaked classified info. So it doesn't matter if he is a whistle blower or not, he flat out out break criminal law(s)

I'll bet his career in the military is really going to take off now. The Trump-loving military is for sure going to give big rewards to an insubordinate snitch who tried to frag the Commander in Chief.

I'm sure they're planning on celebrating the next stage of his career by throwing him a big old blanket party.

Yay! I hope he enjoys the fun!

Claiming elections mean the end of democracy is a total non sequitur.

He's done. He will go back to the pentagon for a while but their is no path forward for him in the Army or for ANYONE who does not respect the chain of command, much less the commander in chief. He will be out of the Army soon. His lawyer doesn't have a damn thing to say about it.

Investigate all of that and prosecute all of them who broke the law in leaking, and fire those who didn't break the law in leaking for disloyalty. That's how employment goes.

Believe me, if there was a way Trump could remain the president for 3 or more terms, it would only be beneficial to you. Unless you don't work.

I wonder how stupid some of those GOP Senators now feel after voting acquit? Two days later the child in the WH turns around and fires the purple heart Patriot. He learned a lesson, right, Susan Collins? These Senators are all enablers. They will come to regret their vote, once Trump turns on them.
