I am simply saying this site is like you said, almost good for nothing. It does however help to educate people on certain matters. Is this something you can understand?

Every person matters, regardless of their education.

This site does not educate people. That is a silly assumption. As proof of this, I would like you to consider how you are going to disagree with the statement that I just made. And at no point did you learn anything. You simply read my opinion and posted your own. There is no learning going on. We are wasting time in our chosen way.

And nobody here matters to me. You are probably going to twist my words into something provocative with some kind of snarky attitude while pretending that you are being noble for disagreeing with me, but that doesn't matter... because you do not matter to me. There is no reason for anyone on this website to matter to me. It's all a waste of time.

Only the weak need to be made to look strong. The strong are generally recognizable as such.

Jesus' dad seems kind of evil (many Biblical verses say that JESUS is god, so that would mean that JESUS is evil.)

I haven't bothered to read all the posts in this thread, but have a question to propose.

What if this Satan you cite actually created this god you cite?

It would certainly explain some of the questionable actions this god has supposedly made.

Perhaps god is the evil one, not Satan.

    Just a thought.

Can you explain the mechanism which changes illogic to logic, when certain incantations are spoken (or whatever ritual is involved)?

Or are you essentially suggesting that we will think certain things are true, only after we decide to start thinking certain things are true? In which case, the same approach will necessarily render anything at all true. Bigfoot, aliens, Zeus, Shiva ...

It's a fairly old question/thought. Plenty of evidence to suggest it.

This "god" of the Bible did, according to the Bible, commit genocide worse than Hitler did (his "flood", which is estimated to have killed more people than Hitler's Holocaust)....and Jesus can't find the moral courage to condemn his dad for that, so like father, like son - both are evil.

Yes, their "god" approves of killing gays, and neither him nor his retarded son have, in 2000+ years, told us that they got it wrong in the Bible - so yes, maybe he's actually the evil one, and was created by "Satan". Their is no proof that he created Satan, so this explanation has just as much credence.

The Christian god doesn't exist. He is a fairy tale. God exists outside of the universe and does not directly interfere. He does talk to us. Our conscience is his voice. Humans are not inheritly good, so we shouldn't have an internal voice which tells us something is bad.

He also gives inspiration. All the great philosophers were inspired by him to develop and spread their teachings.....Jesus, Gandhi, Buudha, etc...

'satan' or 'accuser/enemy/foe' are persons who disguise themselves as an Angel of Light when interrogated and narrowly looked upon.

The early church created "Satan". You can't have a good story without the ultimate bad guy.

So are you saying that the voices in your head are god? The same voices that tell mass murders to commit murder?

No, god doesn't actually talk to us. He simply influences us. When you are about to do something and you suddenly have a feeling that it's wrong. That can be, but isn't always god talking to us. If you hear actual voices in your head, you are just nuts.

Not really. I don't view conscience as a "voice in my head". If you hear yours as actual voices, seek professional help.

Without Satan there would be no God. Good/Bad, Ying/Yang.....Black/White....Positive/Negative and so on.

Let's not forget that Satan is simply a made up being used to take the blame for all mankind's wrongdoings.

In the words of the rock band Rush. "Blame it better to give than receive." He was created solely so that humanity could commit atrocities and turn around and say "The Devil made me do it".

Frankly I think its more basic than that. If you have an all good entity how do you know that entity is 'good' without an opposite?

You are the one who cited a voice in your head. Perhaps you are the one that should seek help. O at least education to help dismiss some of your more fanciful beliefs.
