    I'm not an expert but my impression is that most or at least many people who die from Covid actually die from something else. The something else happened when the patient was symptomatic with Covid and could have been assisted by the Corona infection or maybe not. My opinion is based on the political response to the outbreak. We get tens of thousands of deaths every year from seasonal flu and we ignore it as a society. Covid has captured the hearts and minds of the media has been turned into hysteria. It is certainly more serious than recent seasonal flu outbreaks but only by a factor of 2 or 3. I view it as a nasty seasonal flu in terms of its virulence, not a mass extinction as the press would lead you to believe. Your mileage may vary.

    SUREEEEEEEEEEEE sounds like we needed testing, but Trump thought better to let folks live in fear, and ruin the economy.
