It's her body. It's her health. It's her religion. SHE is the decision maker. NOT you. How the HELL can anyone think that the government gets to dive in on whether or not to save the life of the WOMAN? How does the government get to force the woman to carry the fetus of her rapist, or carry the full load of psychological and physical damage as her life runs by.

Well, you are saying that if elective abortion was banned, women would be forced to look after the kid, right? If there was a shortage of heterosexual couples for adoption, then I would be okay for same sex couples adopting.
I haven't seen anyone anywhere say that....What are you talking about? If abortion is banned women would be forced to gestate....do you know what "gestate" means??? There is. So you don't think same sex couples are as good as hetero couples but would let them have children to adopt anyway ???!!!!! Our religious freedom is not consistent with calling on congress to decide questions of morality of an individual's decisions. Even the Pope has stated that there is a difference between sin and law.
