Good to see that you still think that abortion is not a right. How amazing that we both share an opinion on abortion! That really is quite something isn't it.

First of all, the conviction rate for rapists is abysmal.

More importantly, that's not the issue here.

The issue is that you can't write a law that can be used to prove that a woman wasn't raped.

The only person who knows whether a rape occurred is the woman - NOT the legislature.

Correct. Only that a woman WAS raped.

Again, only the woman knows whether she was raped.

The legislature, doctors, prosecutors - nobody else knows that it wasn't rape.

And, there is no way for a woman to PROVE that it was rape, possibly outside of injury as evidence.

The fact is that successful prosecution of evidence backed claims of rape have a miserable rate of success. In fact, its known that a large number do not even get reported, due to the issues surrounding such claims and how they are handled.

They do, but that doesn't mean that they should suffer a painful death. For the life to continue in these circumstances is worse than the life NOT continuing. It's no different to turning off someone's life support. People do not NEED to lose their right to life in order for their life to be brought to an end in these cases.

It certainly has nothing to do with "force."

No, it's a natural process which THEY started, in over 99% of cases. In a theoretical abortion free world, women would be forcing THEMSELVES to gestate if they took that risk of engaging in an act which can easily have this result. This is called: personal responsibility. Which I know is somewhat of a foreign concept to many liberals.

If women were being forced to get pregnant, like in the Handmaid's Tale, that would be evil.

WHY don't those fetuses have a right to life????

    Here we go again LOL..

WHY would they suffer a painful death?

What do you mean by """ For the life to continue in these circumstances is worse than the life NOT continuing.""" ????

WHY? Why would a fetus due to rape have a worse life than any other fetus?

YES, a ban on abortion is FORCING women to gestate...that's what the ban is for ! DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

You are being deliberately obtuse....and wrong.

Obviously you refuse to acknowledge what the word " ban " means.....OR DON'T KNOW ;)

You are being deliberately obtuse....and wrong.

SO? Are you saying women are forcing themselves to gestate ??? :roflol::roflol:

The fact that it is "natural" has NOTHING to do with abortion or rights or anything else.....as has been explained(hopelessly to you) lots of things are "natural" but we don't accept them.

Sorry, we are in the REAL world....some day you may accept that..

No, an abortion ban would force women to gestate...nothing else...

Yes, personal responsibility means one takes their own responsibility ..it's not dictated by lawmakers..and other evil misogynists..

...and it can include abortion of a fetus because one cannot afford a kid or doesn't want one.

Oh, look! A silly little attempt at an insult resulting from desperation at not having any good point ...:)

Why is one "force" bad but not another "force" ???? BOTH take away women's right to bodily autonomy.

Force is force....rapists force and Anti-Choicers force....they are alike that way

    That idea is ridiculous !

WHY would a fetus due to rape have any more problems than a fetus due to consensual sex ????????????
EVERY fetus may have those problems...
    :) You are squirming....

And one of the ways in which people can exercise their liberty to dictate their life and pursue their own happiness, is by choosing to have sex which can likely result in pregnancy.

YOU SAID"""That's no life at all. Thank God then that people, certainly in the superior West, CAN exercise their liberty to dictate it and pursue their own happiness! It's great!"""

...banning abortion would mean women could not ""exercise their liberty to dictate it and pursue their own happiness!""

Therefore you did not include women...

"Exercise their liberty to dictate it and pursue their own happiness", by having someone -- usually a MAN -- dig around inside of them! SO MUCH bodily autonomy! :roflol:
