Geee...how am I to respond to such an uplifting post? Well, at least we are in agreement that we live in alternate universes. Now, in case you aren't aware of it, all politics is comparative. So should I guess at who you think is a better politician or POTUS?

That is total hogwash. First, Trump's plan was "quid quo pro"... you do this and we'll do that... a step by step step plan. The Taliban failed to do the first requirement. They did not honor a ceasefire. SO THE WHOLE PLAN WAS CANCELLED. The UN Security Council had NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. The deal was OVER and cancelled when Trump left office. Biden's cowardice happened SIX MONTHS LATER. You worship and kneel at the altar of Biden. We understand.

 

Yea, all politics is comparative. James Buchanan was equal to Abraham Lincoln. How can anyone be so judgemental to think otherwise! Only college professors can make those judgements. The rest of us are too stupid and ignorant, no matter how long or hard we study history to give opinions on such weighty issues. The Democrats tell you that you can’t judge a president’s performance while he is in office. You have to wait at least six to eight years. Of course the Democrats judged Trump to be a failure in less than two months. He was the exception.

If you want a list of who is better than POTUS, it’s very long if the allegations of payments from China to the Biden family are substantiated. You would have to go back to a Republican, Spiro Agnew, who was taking bribes while he was vice president. Agnew was taking them from Maryland contractors, which is less onerous than taking them from an enemy nation to the United States. Oops! There I am being judgemental again!

So, yes, I won’t bore you with a list because you already know who would be on it. It would include many Republicans and a lot of Democrats who would never take money from Communist China. It would also include the blunders that I outlined in this string in post #27. There are few Democrats who would make all of those mistakes, but Joe made them.

Abraham Lincoln’s big government (by 19th century standards) got the state of Illinois into financial trouble during his time in the state legislature. He also lost two races for the U.S. Senate. He had the smallest net worth for anyone elected president up until that time.

In his youth, Lincoln ran a general store that went bankrupt. Yep, Lincoln, by your measure, was not qualified to run.
