USnavy has another fleet including an aircraft carrier in Japan. With air refuelling their fighters can add to the conflict. Japanese warships are reportedly joining the US fleet at South Korea.

 

The North Koreans kicked the USA butts in 1950 and the sissies from the USA had to get the whole world involved to rescue them....same thing will happen this time, only USA does not have enough balls to go toe to toe with 2 million trained and physically fit soldiers from the north....

Ukraine pretty much had their own oligarch, and still has at least one as a president. As for NATO - USSR of XXI century, nothing more. Same agressive behaviour and same fanatical thirst for spreading their ideology on people who are not asking for that.

How about dropping leaflets from a U-2 promising assistance and asylum, and cookies to senior military leaders if they will undertake to remove Kim from power and work with the UN to slow the nuclear program?

 

This is why we need to induce senior military in NK to remove Kim for themselves. I doubt they enjoy walking behind that fat kid, grinning and applauding when they aren't scribbling in those little books they all carry.

not really, its because china was involved in Korean war, back then the ally push NK all the way back to Chinese border, and cross it, that's when china decide to attack with 350,000 solider. Today, china is frustrated with NK as US, I doubt they will help NK during conflict, more likely they will work with US to remove NK regime and establish a puppet regime that's friendly with China.

North Korea is a plague on this Earth. The sooner its regime is toppled, the better off everyone will be.

I don't know what's going to happen in North Korea. I know what I'd like to see, though. I'd like to see the Chinese man-up and take the little in-bred freak out and replace him with a responsible leader.

 

Lots of exaggeration in this notion Kim will flatten Seoul, there's propaganda and the realities of a nearly destitute nation. Not every DPRK weapon is as seen on the parades, this equipment needs constant skilled maintenance, quality parts and technicians to maintain it. On paper DPRK has 900,000 soldiers, are they all battle ready? Does every one of them have a gun and some ammo?

The North Korean military hasn't fought a war in half a century, their missiles are famous for their failures, they fall apart, lose control, go off on the wrong course. Theoretically the long dong (an advanced scud) could reach Alaska, but was the rocket properly maintained, did they use the right lubricant, replaced corroded parts...

I expect the North Korean military (conscripts) will do the best they can, but don't expect they have the stamina and know though they are numerous, they're not well equipped.

 

Nothing is going to happen. China said it didn't want any military action in N.Korea, and the media there is furious over what Trump did to Syria. It's a big show by the war mongers in Washington, but it will get them no where since any attack on the North will end up destroying the South.

Besides why would anyone want to kill such nice looking girls? I remember when Americans looked like that before the junk foods and hormones.

"Become unstable" you mean he wasnt and now he is? I dont think so. People have individual personalities. This man Trump has to a degree lived in a business bubble that has developed a ruthless business quality. He campaigned effectively to become the POTUS. That campaign meant lies and rhetoric and scandal not unlike any other candidate for the job...ever.

I've been saying since he was elected thst he be given a chance to prove his worth but one week in the job he was condemned by many. Again all normal in the USA.

I believe his legacy will be his a/ ability to listen to his military advidors b/ to act on their advice in conjunction with the current political situation at the time and c/ to balance the books.

I also think to have guts to front evil helps.

Of course I'm pro-trump but that doesnt mean he wont mess up...they all do. Its the big picture at the end of their term that count. Certainly if he was a do nothing president with the likes of NK then his legacy will be that he was the President (along with BO) that allowed the west coast to be nuked.

Thats what I like about Trump. He is the man for the time.
