What does MAGA (and Ultra MAGA) mean to you

ah, so that is why MAGA doesn't think America is great

I think we need to tax foreign outsourcing and foreign imports more, but I still think America is great

 

no, not quite. if each group of adherents (as well, i am sure, many individual adherents) has his own definition of "maga"( or anything else) we are getting even nearer to the terminal height of the tower of babel.

a great leader (lincoln, jfk, churchill) could identify the issue and tell his followers why they should work together to make it right. you may have noticed that we are short of great leaders these days.

the trump method, broad generalities bordering on meaninglessness, invite the followers to imagine that the leader is speaking to them alone, so of course the adherents have their own visions.

this works well, i suppose, in trumps sales business. in that business you close the sale by saying whatever it takes and move on to the next transaction. an actual leader must follow up.

 

But, it never became a contraction synonymous with themselves.

 

So what.

 

So, when others used it, it was a slogan that said what it meant and meant what it said. Before tRaitor tRump it wasn't proxy ejaculation of one man.

 

Like everything that was done by done, which was lying to everyone in a historic way, the Make America Great Again turned out to be Make America Gag Again.

Every time I heard or saw Trump, I gagged.

 

It still is a great goal to have. I'll continue to use it as long as the senile imbecile is in the WH despite how bad it gets.

 

Yesterday's news?

 

It was a campaign slogan, but failed to materialize into any real action by the trump admin.
Then it morphed into an action to deny losing an election with escalated further with an attempt to stop the peaceful transfer of power.

As with all things, the sports team, work team, organization, etc, take on the character of the leader(s).
And the leader wanted nothing more than to stop the peaceful transfer of power after the voters fired him.

 

Making America more great is always a worthy goal. That was never the intention tRaitor tRump had in mind. BTW, that "senile imbecile" in OUR White House has already gotten more done and is costing Americans less than tRaitor tRump ever hoped to. Of course tRaitor tRump's only hope was to line his own pockets and become the first American dictator.

 

Tell that bs to all the border patrol agents struggling to secure our southern border and/or all the families that lost someone they love to the illegal drugs flowing across the border while those same agents are having to deal with illegal immigrants. If this was happening on Trump's watch you guys would be demanding his impeachment. I don't want Biden impeached because of his derilection of duty because that would mean the laughing hyena would be in charge. Hell no, to that.

 

Tell the Boarder Patrol Agents to tell that BS to Keven McCarthy; it's high time congress passed serious immigration and boarder law. And btw, "this" AbsaByGodLutely WAS happening on tRaitor tRumps watch he just jacked the numbers around and phuked with the poorest and most desperate people on earth to make it all look acceptable to his MAGA crowd. The rethuglicans won't impeach Biden because the would end up with egg on their face. Hell they barely elected a speaker.

 

Like all political campaign slogans, it means nothing. Its just another thing to make people angry and attack. What does the red cape mean to a bull?

 

January 6th was actually orchestrated and allowed by the anti-MAGAS.

 

Biden doesn't need Congress to secure the borders. That's entirely in his authority to do without their approval. He can start by finishing the wall with all the steel that he left to rust, even though taxpayers paid for it. If he doesn't want to do that he can give it to the state governors to use instead of suing them to stop doing what he's supposed to do.

 

All in your dreams. The MAGA movement did not benefit one bit by JAN. 6th. Anyone with logical thinking knew it would not benefit. The Left wing Democrat Administration promoted and benefited from Jan. 6th. See how that works?

 

I equate MAGA with America 1st once again.

 

We have been behind the curve on immigration for a generation, President's can only do so much and depends on Congress for funding. IF, Biden would "build the wall" it would bankrupt OUR nation. The real cost, not tRumpian pipe dreams, but real cost has been realistically estimated to be the equivalent of stacking 100 dollar bills 20 feet high along our Southern boarder. But never mind that. IF we were to build a southern wall we would, by it's very construction, turn some of the most inaccessible country in the world into some of the most accessible. Building the roads to build the wall would defeat it's purpose with every mile we built.

The rethuglican governors that are bitching know this but it's too lucrative a fund raiser to do anything but play along.

IF we really want to change the human pressure on our Southern boarder we could spend money more economically and effectively with foreign aid to our Southern neighbors, but only if we don't permit it to end up in a dictators pocket ... again.

 

Well goodness gracious! Stopping what was already paid for doesn't require an act of Congress. Biden did that all by himself. Meanwhile, tons of steel continue to rust because Joe won't let governors do what he refuses to do.
