Trump has made the claim several times over and over, that illegals are coming to America and taking "black jobs"

What constitutes a "black job"

Burger flipper?
Door man?
uber / cab driver?

Im just curious what people think when Trump says "Black Jobs"

I know what I think he means. Poor jobs. He hires blacks to clean his toilet, and thats what he thinks about black America. IMO.

Trump was saying black Americans are losing their hard earned jobs to illegal criminals.

To suggest Trump was being elitist is absurd when we had a black President, black ceos, etc

Trump was a guest at a conference of the 'National Association of Black Journalists'. Now think about that name. When Trump was asked what a Black job was he should have said, "A Black journalist".

Stats show that blacks have disportionately larger representation in less skilled work such as the service industries and that black unemployment is double whites.

Black unemployment is a problem that is not helped by unskilled noncitizens coming into the country illegally.

It's a simple truth.

 

US black people have lower scholastic achievements than just about any other demographic group in the US. We can argue about why that is, but it is. Even with DEI/Affirmative Action, today, black people are more likely to have low to no skill-low education requirement jobs per capita. It is those jobs the pay for which is depressed by an invasion of unskilled, uneducated illegal aliens. And black people should, and are, realizing they're being replaced while their economic well being is under attack.

I think that is all Trump meant when he said the open border is hurting black people (jobs).

It isn’t a trait of the job, it’s a trait of the location.

Blacks are doing a good job self segregating themselves since it’s illegal for their former white Democrat slave masters to make them do it.

So I would think jobs in black communities can be called black jobs without too much confusion since Democrats and Black people say Black jobs all the time and nobody has a problem with it.

No, the point is, Blacks can define Black jobs, but Whitey can't. The other point is the Black journalist had one goal -- "Gottcha Trump". Most folks understood what Trump was trying to convey to the 'Black group convention'.
