The proof comes from the United States Sentencing Commission. They are an independent agency. You lost this debate. Also, to claim that "the evil politicians" are behind ranting up black are treated unequally in the US ergo there is white privilege..... just a dumb laugh your ass off conspiracy theory. I decline such retard "arguments".
The report bluntly states "sentences of blacks were on average 15.2% longer than the sentences of similarly situated whites". And so it confirms that there is white privilege. Hence your claim of "There is absolutely no proof that people of African American descent get longer sentences." is not just an unfounded claim of yours, but I debunked it!

OK, I"m done with you. In the future, I will more quickly follow Twain's advice:

"Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes time and annoys the pig."

Is white privilege just congratulating yourself?

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/post...theyre-really-just-congratulating-themselves/

Admitting that white privilege helps you is really just congratulating yourself
If genuine contrition is the purpose of racial self-criticism, then the exercise is a paradox.
    By Fredrik deBoer January 28
Fredrik deBoer is an academic and writer. He lives in Indiana.

Ryan Lewis (left) and Macklemore during the 2014 Grammy Awards (Robyn Beck/AFP-Getty Images)
There’s a strange, profoundly contemporary form of behavior that says a lot about our continuing problems with race and the deeply anxious, neurotic ways in which we’re confronting those problems: the ritualistic practice of white self-indictment.

On the Internet, white people have taken to acknowledging their own white privilege, and thus their own complicity in white supremacy. This behavior is undertaken, with eminent sincerity, in an effort to confront the abundant racial inequality in contemporary America. But like so much else in our society, the practice has ultimately worked not to undermine structural racism — the putative aim — but merely to deepen the self-regard of the educated white elite.

Last month, the New York Times published an essay by George Yancy — an African American philosophy professor at Emory University whose work considers race, racism and whiteness in American life — enjoining white readers to consider their place within a racist system, “to tarry, to linger, with the ways in which you perpetuate a racist society, the ways in which you are racist.” Only by doing that work, he argues, can you feel “a form of love that enables you to see the role that you play (even despite your anti-racist actions) in a system that continues to value black lives on the cheap.”

In other words, the first step toward solving the problem is acknowledging that there is one.

That’s fine as far as it goes, but there’s a trap within his request: public self-indictment is impossible. Which isn’t to say that I don’t appreciate Yancy’s attempt to address white complicity in white supremacy — I agree completely with the basic claim that we live in a system rife with racial inequality and white privilege. In saying that self-indictment is impossible, I don’t mean that it’s an unfair thing to ask of white people. I mean that if genuine contrition and meaningful apology are the purpose of self-criticism — for complicity in white supremacy or anything else — then the practice is a paradox because the very performance of self-indictment, in this context, functions as a form of self-congratulation.

Take a prototypical example of the genre. After describing himself as “white, male, heterosexual, Christian, able-bodied, tall, thin, blue-eyed, blonde of hair,” someone who “would blend in well in any country club or upscale private school,” Mic’s Charles Clymer claims that “acknowledging my privilege has been liberating for me; it has made me a better person and better equipped to stand beside those who suffer prejudice, often in silence.” Strange that self-criticism seems so similar to self-improvement, and is expressed in such terms of self-congratulation.

Yancy’s entreaty suggests this form of self-critique is quite rare, yet there’s an entire cottage industry devoted to it. Similar arguments calling for white people to own their privilege have been published in places like the Huffington Post and Salon. Popular sites like YouTube and Tumblr play host to hundreds of earnest white people, eagerly disclaiming white privilege and their complicity in white supremacy. White rapper Macklemore recently released his second track concerning his own white privilege. Those who publicly go through with this ritual are, ostensibly, undertaking the hard work that Yancy asks for, waging “war within themselves.” Yet they don’t appear to be at war, at all. Despite their declarations of guilt, they don’t appear guilty. If anything, they have always struck me as supremely self-satisfied.

Not certain if the word itself IGNORANT depending upon it's use is a Rule Violation.

Ignorant is specific to the word and action to IGNORE....thus IGNORE THE FACTS or IGNORANT OF THE FACTS.

    Definition.

    ig·no·rant
    ˈiɡnərənt/
    adjective
lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.
"he was told constantly that he was ignorant and stupid"
synonyms: uneducated, unknowledgeable, untaught, unschooled, untutored, untrained, illiterate, unlettered, unlearned, unread, uninformed, unenlightened, benighted; More
lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular.
    "they were ignorant of astronomy"
    synonyms: without knowledge of, unaware of, unconscious of, oblivious to, incognizant of, unfamiliar with, unacquainted with, uninformed about, ill-informed about, unenlightened about, unconversant with, inexperienced in/with, naive about, green about;

I would have to say it depends upon the USE of the word IGNORANT.

If someone said to me...."You are ignorant of the rules of Cricket."......since I am....I could hardly claim the other member was breaking a rule.

However....if a member called me IGNORANT simply because they did not agree with my belief, opinion nor agree with a fact I was aware of but they were not....THEN the use of the word IGNORANT would be breaking a rule.

I'm so impressed that 1% of fathers are "stay-at-home" caregivers for their children because their wife earns more than enough income to support the family. (sarcastically stated).

I've actually know one of the 1%ers who's wife was a medical doctor earning over $150,000/yr so he stayed at home to take care of their two children. These men don't stay at home because they are denied employment (my friend was an aerospace mechanical engineer) but instead choose to stay at home to take care of the children because the household, based upon the spouse's income alone, doesn't need their income.

So what percentage of black women have jobs with very high incomes so that the man can afford to choose to stay at home and take of the children?

Actually we can identify which organizations are White (WASP) Male Supremacy organizations because they self-identify themselves through their actions and/or publications.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_white_nationalist_organizations#United_States

Additionally we can also identify many organizations based upon the demograchic composition of the organization and studies of their members where the members are often mono-culturalists or that exhibit a high level of anti-black. anti-hispanic, or anti-women prejudice in either their expressed opinions and/or actions.

For example we know from a 2008 study and a 2012 study that respectively 71% and 79% of self-identified Republicans expressed explicit anti-black racial prejudice and based upon this knowledge we can, with relative certainty, identify the Republican party as a racist organization. We can also establish that racism within the Republican Party has increased in recent years based upon the studies. We also know from legislative agendas and political rhetoric that Republicans are also anti-Hispanic, anti-Chinese, and anti-women which provides extensive evidence supporting the opinion that the Republican Party is a White (WASP) Male Supremacy organization which is why it's gained a reputation for being "The Party of Angry White Men" in our social dialogue.

So yes, we can identify who the White (WASP) Male Supremacy groups are in America.

As a card carrying Libertarian I'm personally concerned with the level of White (WASP) Male Supremacy support from self-identified libertarians in the United States so this is not a problem for just Republicans. Based upon studies where "Libertarians" are lumped in with "Independents" we know that slightly more than 50% of Liberatians also express explicit anti-black racial prejudice as well.

I also understand that prejudice within any group can only be overcome by the members of the group. The "White (WASP) Male Supremacy" ideology within the Libertarian Party and movement has to be addressed by Libertarians and the same problem within the Republican and Democratic Party can also only be addressed by Republicans and Democrats respectively.

in other words you can't differentiate government report from the opinion of the WJS editor.
whether situation for black and white was similar or not is a pure speculation, no one has done anything to do the real research.

You can consider yourself world champion of debates, but it is not going to explain the issue.
Despite your preaching about "white privilege" you can't really identify the point where that privilege starts.
What law or regulation prevents African American people from starting their careers, from setting up their families?
You can't even describe a problem other then repeating empty words about white privilege.
Essentially "white privilege" is a giant conspiracy theory, no one knows what it is but everyone is talking about it.

Are those organization that you listed U.S. employers, or education facilities?
We need to identify "WASP Supremacy Males" organizations that prevent African Americans from acquiring skills and knowledge to become full-fledged member of society.
So far we have not been able to do so.
All the studies you are referring to have no credibility and in fact just an opinions of the people.
The bare fact that some company have more WASP males does not prove that organization is "WASP Supremacy Male"

e.g. where I work most of the people are Indians and Chinese, does it mean that we also have "Indian and China supremacy male" privilege?
It seems to me that in reality we have nothing behind "white privilege" slogan.

The racism? There's stil some. Not as blatant as before, but subtle. Everyones hitting at each other below the belt or injecting their views into common media. For some of the types you'll run across, I'd say you should just have thick skin and self-confidence, but the problem is that this kind of talk and this kind of speech eventually leads to the racial, ideological, or political nightmares that other countries have, AND we have had. And not to long ago to really say we are better than others.

Their not causing a problem by naming children Terrell, Darryl and Tyrone. It's the whites and Jews who are causing the problem by giving white names a privilege in the job market.
You're just showing off that you are lacking in knowledge about what black names are.
    That is being ignorant.

And these Jew are? A name would do. BTW many of them don't go by their given name and prefer their street monikers. Lets face it, employers don't like an ID tag with a name like Icepick or Pork chop. It's why Chevy doesn't use a name, like " union made piece of crap" for its cars. Not my fault, it's theirs. But like all libs, you'll assign the blame to Whitey or "the Jews" whoever that is.

Negative. This is a report of an independent agency.
    Negative. I sourced the research.

Not really. You said there is no proof of something.
And I sourced that you are wrong.
You than claimed this is just a bunch of politicians publishing their opinion.
While the United States Sentencing Commission is an independent agency.

I just won this "debate" because I google things and you're apparently too lazy to do that and are just ranting nonsense.

It is more like,.. there is no law preventing African Americans to be discriminated against others who give white names a privilege when trying to have a career. This is just like that there was a law needed to make the whites and Jews not openly put up signs they don't want black people in their business. There are laws needed to prevent discrimination. The century old culture of the whites and jews to discriminate and oppress black people isn't gone. The privilege of white names applying for jobs show that, the US Sentencing Commission shows that. There is also proof black people get less service in hospitals in the US.
It's real alright. You're just dismissing all the sources all the time that shows black people get the short end of the stick for no reason with ridiculous arguments. But there is a reason for it. It's the cultural heritage of the whites and jews. And you took up the job to clear their name.

Since I sourced what the black names are. And you now claim their are all applying to jobs with names they made up wondering the streets... than you better prove it or I'm going to dismiss this nonsense.

It's them lot who got a sick cultural heritage, that got passed down to the current generation with their slaver flag waving habits.

Of course employers prefer white employees over black ones.

They know from experience that whites are more likely to do a good job than blacks. Now, this is unfair to black men. A given black man may in fact prove to be a good or even excellent employee. But the odds are against it, and hiring a black man when a white one is available is a bad bet.

"White privilege" is a rational response to the reality of racial differences.

Its like this: You sourcing widgets to build a product and you can source them from Factory W or Factory B.

In your experience the widgets from Factory B have a higher defect rate than those from Factory W.

Why would you ever source widgets from Factory B?

I've had several black bosses that obviously earned way more than I did, and at least two of them were women.
