A lot of guys are more arse men. Some guys only care about the size of the rack. Whether it looks nice or not is inconsequential to them as long as they are the size of watermelons. These are the kinds of guys to avoid, ladies. :D

Well, I sure have high expectations for those who scored over 120 on this forum. You are SUPER intelligent, since the average IQ is around 100. :D

The only real IQ test is the Wechsler Intelligence Test. I've taken a shortened version of it, and I scored 105. I am about in the 62 percentile, being just a bit above average in IQ. My problem . . . I'm terrible at math, and a lot of IQ tests have lots of math on them. I don't really remember much about math because I don't really use it in my day to day to life. I have difficulty with word problems too. I was always a finger counter as a child (and still! Lol).

Oops, I thought you said 'Don't speak 'to' me either'. Never mind - 'it's only a messageboard' as they say!

I highly advise against online IQ tests. They are even more unstable than real IQ tests.

I've taken a few IQ tests in my lifetime.

In early childhood, I had scores ranging from 122 to 150--it can fluctuate pretty wildly.

I took the adult version of the WAIS when I was 17, which is the gold standard in IQ testing, and I scored a 127 (full-scale).

My verbal IQ was over 140 and my performance IQ was around 110. I got close to the ceiling on similarities, matrices, and arithmetic, but I did horribly on coding speed and sequential reasoning, hence my modest scores on the performance section.

By the way, it is important to note that you shouldn't use extrapolations based on admissions tests, or anything achievement related. They work for measuring large groups of people, but they aren't very practical for individual use. If you got a high score on the SAT or GRE and think you have an IQ of 150, think again.

I can tell you that there probably aren't more than two people on this forum who could actually score over 140 on the Wechsler, if that. A motivated person with an IQ over 120 can ace just about any admissions test, with enough practice.

Mathematics would compromise my score on any kind of IQ test; I'm so unbelievably useless at figures I often suspect I have a form of numerical dyslexia.

(hope you got my PM Rick)

I got a 250. But I’m dislexic so I probably read it backwards.

A true IQ test would have to address all aspects of a person's ability to learn and knowledge. IMO.

Says who. Wouldn't it be a real hoot if those who make up I.Q. tests
have just average I.Q.'s. Like they took the job in order to pad their true I.Q.'s
I mean, ain't that what Politicians do.

My guess is that the folks who develop I.Q. test aren't high I.Q. It is kinda like the guy who designs a car, it ain't a single guy. Without going into boring detail, there are some question that everyone can answer and some that nobody can answer, no floor or ceiling. Then there are question that folks with 100 I.Q. can answer but those with 90 can't. Very simplified but you will get the drift if your I.Q. is high enough.

I am far more impressed and even bowled over by those who - Try Hard - or
Hustle. There are far too many Egghead Professors teaching with tenure at our
University.I have always believed that those who try hardest are the best humans.
That is,in point of fact,a very important ingredient in Life.
Trying. Not merely being smart.I firmly believe our Creator believes as much.
God is never gonna ask one at the pearly Gate how big their house or smart they acted.
God wants to know how they treated and helped their fellow man.

God . . . well, Jesus, told you how to get to the pearly gates, sell what you have, give the money to the poor and follow Me. God made folks smart and stupid, short and tall. Hustle didn't invent the transistor or discover DNA, racists did.

I got it, and no worries!

My primary issue is coding speed. I'm a little slow when it comes to doing grunt work. I've always hated data entry and things like that. My brain simply tires too quickly from tasks like that.
