I've always thought of Nancy Pelosi as what NOT to let happen to you if you stay in DC for too long. It's like they become dumber the longer they stay there. She in particular has completely lost touch with reality.

There are no dumb politicians in Washington, they are the cream of the crop.
They have a good paying job, with excellent benefits, and most everyone they meet is deferring to their every wish.
You should be so dumb as to get yourself into that predicament....

For dumb politicians, look to the local politicians, putting in long hours, without the pay, the benefits or the sycophants...

I will guarantee a much higher percentage of sub-normal iq's on this website than in the federal government. And I don't mean conservatives or liberals - the general population.

That’s a tough one. There are so many. Still, I would have to rate Michele “Batty” Bachmann as the dumbest, with Louis Gohmert and James Inhofe as tied for second. Still, it's a VERY close race.

Maxine Waters without a doubt. Followed closely by Nancy Pelosi. Well, Pelosi is smart she tricks and lies to people, I guess she is the evilest and Waters is the dumbest. Reid is up there too though...Mike Enzi is a brick.

 

I'm sure most of the US's national politicians could figure out what iq stands for. Just a sign of what I was saying.

 

I have to say, Maxine Waters is as dumb as a box of rocks. It's chilling to think morons like her are allowed any position that affects the lives of others. I wouldn't trust that dumb (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) to clean a public bathroom, she'd surely find a way to (*)(*)(*)(*) it up.

Could this kind of stupid politics be the whole tactic, by causing distrust (in all kinds of ways, this is one) in one government/congress or president, the system/rulers can put in the next (new) more trustful government. So they gain power by level of trust. They also gain power by swinging from back and forth republicans to democrats, or distrust in both an create a (new) tea party.
Rulers/establishment in control have a box of tricks, tactics, strategies they use to gain power over the people (this is the only thing that is going on over the last hundred fifty years)
If the people knew the most important political/ideological ruses they could never be able to get control over them (over the last twelve years that was clearly a fear and fight/resistance build up in the masses)

I agree, it would be a difficult decision. But Hank Johnson does have consistency on his side for the title. He is a solid contender, if not the undisputed champion of stupidity as far as congress goes in my opinion.
