Why are our young men so effeminate?

Due to physical peculiarities, nothing more.

The laws of nature govern everything. Most of us are humans, not liberals.

That's not masculine, that's machismo. Those men are actually more effeminate than most, since they are slaves to their whims and emotions.

Why should they have to defy their instincts just to make you feel better and have everyone be exactly the same?

Not necessarily. I'm extremely independent. I was also very competitive about grades when I was in school, wanting to get better grades than others. I'm female, so that disproves your statement.

I agree with what several here have said about men and women being wired differently, but Warspite is correct about culture playing a large part in gender roles. I don't believe that all women inherently want a man to control them, and I thank God that there are decent men around who want an equal partner and who aren't neanderthals who want to boss around some twit.

Today's children are simply growing up in a life where both parents usually work and dad still does virtually nothing to help around the house. So they see how useless men really are and want to be different to that.

 

I'm strictly speaking averages here, there are of course plenty of exceptions. I've met women who were very strong and capable just by personality, and men who were incredibly weak just by personality.

Culture plays a part, but it's counter productive when it goes against human instincts. That being said, I believe women should be given every opportunity to be as strong and independent as they want. I just disagree with the notion that it is somehow shameful to not do that.

A real man doesn't do that, a real man still respects his woman and considers her an equal, they just take different roles in the relationship, that's all. Men who treat women like (*)(*)(*)(*) are usually effeminate with a facade of machismo.

 

Playing with guns doesn't make you a man. Men just prefer guns to makeup kits.

Nobody here is afraid of women, we are afraid of an entire society that is 100% womanized.

A man who doesn't do most of the work isn't a man. The whole point of this thread is that men are encouraged to be weaker and therefore not be the providers they should be, so you should agree.

 

I think there is more male input than female input to what traditional men consider manly. In my experience, women prefer if they define what manly is, and this may be sometimes far from what we men think manly is supposed to be.

 

My own anecdotal observations are my source. I see young men often willing to sit at home and watch soap-operas and eat bon-bons while the woman in their lives (often their mommy) goes out to earn a living, maintain the home and rear any children.

A lot of men will not stick around and certainly will not marry the mother of his children, preferring to knock 'em up and move on, then weasel out of paying child-support. "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" was the stupid saying from back in the day that still applies, even more.

The term "Man up." could be used for the majority of the young men. The military has lowered it's PT requirements, boys and girls are obese, lazy and can't live without an electronic device within 6" of their person. They wouldn't know how to start a fire without a Bic lighter, change brake shoes, shoot and dress a deer, treat their women like a woman. (Is there any romance left ladies? Or is it a movie and an obligatory "hook-up"?) Heck, men will even let the girl drive.

Many young men are opposed to working in the trades where they get their hands dirty. Most auto mechanic and construction tradesmen business owners I talk to say how difficult it is to get good workers and when they do hire someone they are afraid to get dirty and complain about every ache and pain.

I realize this is not the case all across the board, but there seems to me to be soooo many fewer MEN (as opposed to males).

 

These days, men think being "macho" is the same thing as masculinity, and that couldn't be further from the truth.

For those who slept through World History 101… here is a condensed version.

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly barbecues and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.
Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men.

Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy and group hugs, the evolution of the Hollywood actor, and the concept of democratic voting to decide how to divide all the meat and beer that conservatives provided.

Over the years, Conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of liberal women have higher testosterone levels than liberal men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to also make the pitcher bat.

Conservatives drink domestic beer. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, Marines – and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.

Thanks for putting this timely truism to help squelch the ridiculous views of the liberal femanazis here that there is nothing wrong or non-masculine with the way our young boys are being brought up in an effeminate manner. Just by looking at my name you can believe that I was brought up as a young boy playing with guns and competitive sports and not as an effeminate lady boy playing with dolls, dressing up with mommie's panties and bras and playing house.

Women are taking on some of the "traditionally masculine" roles, and men are taking on some of the "traditionally feminine" roles. We're meeting somewhere in the middle and we're pretty happy with that set up.
