Cars and booze have some good and some bad effects, kid. Guns can only kill. Grow up and stop believing deathmerchants' propaganda. It demeans you and makes your Country laughable.

I agree with just about everything on your 'get rid of' list, but spraying classrooms with lead is not something on my 'acceptable' list. It's one of those things that keep me awake nights and I am probably going to over-react trying to stop it. It'd be better if the NRA (or some group like that) would come up with a method of separating loonies from law-abiders, but is appears they want no part of that.

Guns can't save lives? Guns can't provide entertainment? Guns can ONLY kill?

Now you make it quite clear that you have no intention of actually considering and discussing the pros and cons of guns, you just have an irrational fear of guns and want them to all magically disappear.

There is no genuine system in place, in America. It is rigged in entirety, just like every other industrialized nation. The only difference is the American people are the only ones with the means to change that fact, and since America is the financial and military backbone of globalism, it would be the end of the pipe dream should globalists lose control of it. They do not care about school children in Massachusetts. But they will use them to promote an agenda, just as they will use people who can't get healthcare to pass an act that forces people to play that rigged game of gouged services.

Reagan supported the assault rifle ban. Of course, he had to take one in the lung first.

In my opinion, this dilemma only exists because gun lovers refuse to love their republic as much as they claim to love their guns.

Reagan was shot with a hand gun. His entire presidency was ran by Kissinger. He was in no more control than Obama is. They do what they're told.
Please. I don't even own a gun. However, I do own a brain. You'd save more children annually by being anti-abortion. This thread is turning into a joke, from all angles, at every turn.

Our Second Amendment clearly enumerates what is necessary to the security of a free State.

Really? Wow you read all of that? A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Do you know what it is defending against?

Regulation is selective service and the people are the militia.

Appealing to ignorance of our supreme law of the land is not an excuse. The Militia of the United States is codified at 10USC13; and, only our federal Congress can prescribe the wellness of regulation for the Militia of the United States as specifically enumerated in Article 1, Section 8.

this pathetic argument of yours remains a strawman, which has been refuted.

I am not the one appealing to ignorance regarding our supreme law of the land.

    Actually you are.

A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.
--- Thomas Jefferson to Peter Carr, 1785

    We established however some, although not all its [self-government] important principles . The constitutions of most of our States assert, that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, (as in electing their functionaries executive and legislative, and deciding by a jury of themselves, in all judiciary cases in which any fact is involved,) or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed;
---Thomas Jefferson to John Cartwright, 1824

No freeman shall ever be debarred the use of arms.
---Thomas Jefferson: Draft Virginia Constitution, 1776.

Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States. A military force, at the command of Congress, can execute no laws, but such as the people perceive to be just and constitutional; for they will possess the power, and jealousy will instantly inspire the inclination, to resist the execution of a law which appears to them unjust and oppressive.
    ---Noah Webster

Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.
    ---Tenche Coxe

Now I just Googled these but I assure you I have studied in depth the writings of the founding fathers.

You are but a child trying to maintain the complexion of a man.

You may be missing the point about not being able to appeal to "ignorance" regarding our supreme law of the land.

The Militia of the United States is already codified at 10USC13 and our Second Amendment clearly enumerates the terms, "well regulated" concerning what is necessary to the security of a free State. And, only our federal Congress can define what is meant by "well regulated" as enumerated in Article 1, Section 8.

    You mean this: The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

That is not related to the 2nd amendment and the SCOTUS has agreed. The 2nd was and is meant as a defense against government.

Those are only the specifically enumerated, general powers delegated to our federal Congress, they are not the only powers enumerated in Article 1, Section 8. Here it is for your ease and convenience:

    SAMUEL ADAMS
It is certainly of the last Consequence to a free Country that the Militia, which is its natural Strength, should be kept upon the most advantageous Footing. A standing Army, however necessary it may be at some times, is always dangerous to the Liberties of the People. The Militia is composd of free Citizens.

Soldiers are apt to consider themselves as a Body distinct from the rest of the Citizens. They have their Arms always in their hands. Their Rules and their Discipline is severe. They soon become attachd to their officers and disposd to yield implicit Obedience to their Commands. Such a Power should be watchd with a jealous Eye.

I have a good Opinion of the principal officers of our Army. I esteem them as Patriots as well as Soldiers. But if this War continues, as it may for years yet to come, we know not who may succeed them. Men who have been long subject to military Laws and inured to military Customs and Habits, may lose the Spirit and Feeling of Citizens.

And where is my free gun from the government? You are confusing two things here. It has been this way from the institution of the nation and if it were not meant to be that way the people would not have been armed.

Why do gay men like anal sex so much?

Is it any of your business? Why do you care what hobbies/pleasure someone has if it doesn't directly affect you in any way?

And? The SCOTUS disagrees with you as do constitutional scholars and the majority of Americans.

Can you cite that disagreement? From my understanding, those opinions did not disagree with me.

Here is something from DC v. Heller:

Only a well regulated militia is exempted from that requirement.

So police will have to be used to do it?

It's one of those concepts that I can agree is a natural right. But even as a natural right it is codified in law.
