More importantly these teens and their family go thru psychological therapy, counseling, other non-evasive medical treatment long time before any kind of surgery.

I have a co-worker whose 15 years old grandson decided to change his gender. The kid is going through counseling, his twin brother is going through counseling, his parents are going through counseling. He changed his name, dress like a girl, act like a girl. But there is no guarantee he will ever have surgery. My co-worker is in his 60s and he and his wife are struggling with this. The entire family is concerned. The twin brother is struggling with the change.

This is not a small thing. I am with you. this is bad, Kids shouldn’t make this kind of decision.

But problem is , you conservative talk like a 13-year-old boy wants to be a girl and next day a teacher from school taking him to a dark room behind a garbage dump and chopping off his privet parts against his will and without parents knowing about it.

 

It's only a minority that go as far as the surgery, but for those who do, the results are irreversible. That's why I think it just shouldn't be based on a child's "reasoning" or emotional sense of what they are or are not during adolescence; a time of great changes and of kids trying things. The decision of surgery, AND hormones, is an adult decision that should be held off until the person is an adult. Progressive Munchausen by proxy moms shouldn't have the final decision on that.

I take it you are discussing the issue with someone I have on ignore. No matter. It seems that the goal is for the parents not to know that their kid has declared themselves to be transsexual, before their 10 birthday, and get them started on drugs. You are right. It’s not fair to compare Miss Piggy, an iconic, courageous, and timeless hero for young girls to the awful, no good, lying liar Sarah Sanders. I’m sorry and I will do better.
