It's incredibly important for him to become President, fix Hillary's incompetent trade deals and make outsourcing illegal/impractical/unprofitable. Until then while all his competitors outsource he has to compete on the level playing field, he can't go with against the tide and accept an insurmountable competitive disadvantage which would bankrupt him and put 55,000 americans out of work.

 

And what has he done so far toward that end? Lobbied his Congressional Rep, started a petition? What has he done?

All his competitors don't outsource. Some make clothing in the US. How many people does he employ making Trump clothing in the US? Do you at least know that?

 

He is successfully running for president on the anti-outsourcing platform (among other things). He has woken up the entire country and has showed that the status quo is not necessarily the only viable course of actions. He has started a major movement, he will curb outsourcing when he is president. It ain't too bad for a businessman. Elected politicians like Hillary are busy sending jobs to China, borrowing trillions of dollars and dividing them between their donors and corporate masters for a bargain price of 200,000 silver pieces/hr
