You see, you're speeking about Sarkozy's origin so, and, and yet you're not racist. As me. Ah, Sarkozy, the greatest French president of all the Vè Repulic... He miss me alreday. This man was a genius, I hope that he will make is come back in politic soon, he had no right to waste his talent of politics like that. Now, people compare him with Hollande: so, he will me more and more loved, that's really sure.
You need to understand the difference between pointing out hypocrisy (pointing out that talking about "French origins" is a disgusting slur upon your beloved Sarkozy) and agreeing with it. As to your obsession with Sarkozy, I am quite unable to comprehend it. I prefer the natural cynicism that French people reserve for their politicians of all persuasions. There are very few politicans anywhere, in any country who deserve to be worshipped as you worship Sarko.
Oui, tous les Français vont résider dans l'enfer, mais ils ne pourront jamais se rendre compte qu'ils sont là. Yes, all the French will reside in Hell, but they will never realize that they are there
The answer is quite obviously yes!! That includes not just ethnically french people(whatever that means), but anyone who has ever stepped foot within the confines of the arbitrary lines on a map which bound the modern french state!! They will be joined in hell by gays, anyone who has ever eaten pork, Thomas Friedman, my uncle(he is awful), Oprah....... but NOT hitler. You see God hates jews(they are going to hell too) and Hitler was doing Gods work!!
I'm not alone to love Sarkozy very much, let's see: http://anans.fr/ There's a reason if a lot of people love him. He's the best politician of the V Repulic.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpbytB7YmmU&feature=related Romney speaking French to the 1% of French people who actually have any reason to listen.
Romney looks very clever and brillant. Obama to. You're lucky in USA, you've two great candidates. In France, we had a jester and a genius, and, the jester won, of course... How sad it is!...
You can find irony in Moliere, but very few other places in France. What you do find though is a naieve innocence - Marina Le Pen is not a fascist because she allows token blacks into the Party, the Petain regime was not a cowardly fascist cabal of Jewbaiting traitors but sincere patriots doing their best for France, racism against West Indian and Pakistani people in Britain is wrong, but arabs are really all thieves and layabouts... you hear all this filth in France, uttered with with an infantile and feigned innocence. There are millions of French people who face down this evil, embodied by the French slogan - "vote for the criminal, not the fascist" when Jean marie Le Pen challenged Chirac. But it is denial of the past that is the bedrock of Gaullism: a tolerance of a deep evil cancer of racism and prejudice on the French Right that goes back to Dreyfus and before. Here is a strong theme that continues to shame France. Decades of appeasement of fascism by Gaullism, now regularly result in five million Nazi votes at Presidential elections, with each dirty collaborateur denying their filthy prejudice and trahison. With such extremist scum in your midst in the Front National, enabled by conservative tolerance and in many cases sympathy, it is not surprising that French conservatives avoid looking too deeply at the practices in other countries.
In USA, you haven't any party of Left... You're so lucky...! They are all in right. I personnaly like Obama and Romney to (even if I'm really far to be an expert in American politics...).
I've never understood the people who said that Jews will go to the hell... Jésus was Jew, and, I don't think that he is in hell... What a stupid thing...
Almost every nation is guilty of similar crimes, that doesn't mean all the people of that country are to blame. Obviously not. I'm sure some French people will, I'm sure some won't.
To be sure, that even "some" people will go to hell, sounds like a deadly sin. Newsflash: God might just well doom you to follow them!
I voted no in the poll and reckon Hell is a social construct that most likely only exists in people's minds - not in the real world as it truly happens to be. I regard the French people with fondness and solidarity, and understand that liking a nation doesn't imply approval of every one of their actions, whether those be the past or present.
