Woman Blocks Man From Entering His Apt Building -- By The Way, He's Black

As I said, the man taking the video, was a bit of a butt head in this.

 

Let me guess, you also defend the opinion that we should fear men, right?

Oh, and for the record I guarantee you if the guy in this was white, she wouldn't have hopped on her pedestal and reacted the way she did at all.

 

Again, people blaming the guy who was minding his business as somehow having to be responsible for appeasing this woman's racism....Why should he have to be understanding of her concerns? How many people can block you from entering your home based on your appearance and you are supposed to be understanding about it?

 

What evidence do you have that it was based on his appearance? I can't see any evidence in the video. If I was entering a block of apartments using a key code to enter the main door and someone followed me in before I shut the entrance door I would also be concerned that they may be up to no good.

 

We need a sub-forum for these types of non-events, regardless of which *side* is pimping their partisan viewpoint.

I'm sorry if a black guy was annoyed by a white woman, you know, because white men never get annoyed at white women. If you didn't know the colors of the people involved would this event still be racist? Does someone that lives in one of these buildings have the right to be suspicious of someone that attempts to enter their building by “tailgating” instead of entering their pin to buzz themselves in?

Places that implement these types of entry control systems - both pedestrian and vehicle - often recommend that after you open the perimeter you wait to make sure it secures.

He had a key and he was under no obligation to ease her fears just like she wouldn't be obligated to ease his fears if he felt she didn't belong there, and then went on to demand to know where she lived and followed her -- no ****ing way in the world you defend him in that situation...

I saw the video, I saw her "State of Mind" and his complete lack of aggression or even anger. She was a bigot and so are you for tying to defend her.

Did she overreact, absolutely. But I have not seen a single instance where she called his race into question. Furthermore, he entered a secure building without using his pin (she asked him to enter it) - he went through a door that she had made unsecure. Had monitored security been present he would have likely been stopped and asked for identification - irregardless of his gender or race.
