What I found interesting is the other groups of people worshiping Yaw.. and how the characteristics of one God(s) tended to fuse into the characteristics of other Gods over time.

We see this with the divinity of Jesus in the NT. In the earliest and first Gospel (Mark) Jesus is made somewhat divine at his baptism at the age of 32 - following a common archtype/theme. At the time.. using Marks Gospel.. no one knew of any virgin birth or physical resurrection after death (Jesus wandering around in the flesh).

A few decades later the divinity of Jesus has grown !! The author of Matt adds a virgin birth, resurrection stories, and a genealogy back to David to try and make Jesus fit in with the messianic tradition of the day. This author engages in some Pious Fraud (as was common in those days). The author uses all of Mark as a source document but omits a few passages that he feels are derogatory to Jesus or the disciples.

Some 3 decades later we have John. The author transforms Jesus even further by using terms that are familiar to the Greek speaking audience. Jesus is now the "LOGOS" emissary between man and God. Jesus is now pre-existent with God.

It is interesting how the final words of Jesus in Mark/Matt are the same "My God My God, why have you forsaken me"

In John the final words of Jesus are "It is finished"

It takes another 2 centuries for Jesus to actually become God however. This declaration was done by someone who was not even a Christian .. Emperor Constantine - for political purposes.

Oh but hold on ! According to the Trinity Doctrine- Jesus is God. So it was actually God hanging on that cross. We are also to believe that God got so confused in his masochistic delirium that he forgot who he was and started calling out to himself "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me"

The guys on the committee that wrote the Bible in the 680s-690s include all kinds of clues to show that it was just an elaborate prank. Since no one had anything to prove them wrong they got away with it. Their parody became gospel.
