Look at your treatment of Venezuela, a country that overwhelmingly elected through DEMOCRATIC means a leader, several times in a row, that you didn't like. You ostracised them, slandered them, tried to mount economic warfare against them and probably assassinated their DEMOCRATICALLY elected leader. All cause they had the temerity to elect a leader you didn't approve of.

Newsflash for you, countries elect their own leaders based on who they want to lead their country, not who they think the USA will approve of. And what was his crime? To make the natural resources of Venezuela work for the people of Venezuela instead of private companies from America.

You need to wake up to the harm your country does. Go and read about what sort of place Saudi Arabia is, and remember it is only like that because you militarily, diplomatically and economically support that regime.

Why did you hate Cuba so much? Because they nationalised their own industries so that Cuban produce made money for the people of Cuba instead of private American companies. And they get a 50 year embargo for it!!!

I think if the US up and vanished, the world would have a harder time without us than if the rest of the world vanished leaving just the US.

We use oil when we have the resources to create effective alternative fuels. Our government is just paid not to research these alternatives by oil companies.

 

you don't have effective fuels to sustain anything like your standard of living and economy without foreign oil. you need the world to make your products, buy your exports, buy your government bonds to cover up your massive debt bubble and buy all the guns you make. America is already bankrupt, China and others buying your debt is the only thing keeping you afloat. You also hoard the world's gold, hence the petro-dollar, you don't own it you just keep it for others.

It wasn't America that started two world wars that killed millions. It wasn't America that unleashed murderous communists regimes that killed another 100 million people in the 20th century. It wasn't America that carved up half the globe in the name of colonial exploitation, that still is responsible for ethnic and religious conflicts in third world nations.

We import oil from other countries for 2 reasons:
1) it's cheap.
2) the libs don't want us drilling, so we're sitting on the last of the world's oil supply.... for who knows how long.

 

Ya, you have no clue what you're talking about. American produces 22 million barrels per day. Our imports of crude oil is down 32% from 2008. Lastly , America never funded the Nazis, but it was eurotards that either appeased the Nazis, or directly collaborated with the Nazis.

 

Is not the US expected to be a net exporter of oil some time this year - If it has not already happened
