WWII was started by Hitler, WWIII was started by Mohammad.

INCREDIBLE. You're defending wife-beating. Incredible. Are you a Muslim?

Clearly, ridicule is the only response to 4:34.

So you think we should change our LAWS to approve of wife-beating.....or was Mohammad wrong...which is it?

Yes, Christianity is clearly as bad as Islam, in many ways (approval of slavery, etc.) The Bible approves of rape in 10 places (I did a post on that already).

You are in serious denial, I'm not kidding. You seem very intelligent, so I'm sure it's just lack of education on this particular subject, like I was years ago (I knew nothing about religions.)
To prove I'm right, just ask 5 Muslims this question "if, repeat if, Mohammad masturbated on the thighs of a 6 year old girl, and had sexual intercourse with her when she was only 9, and he was in his 50's, would you say that those were immoral acts?"

Incredibly, and almost beyond belief, they won't say that was immoral, trust me. It's sad, really. The utter disconnect from morality that religion causes is a sad sight indeed. Modern Secular Humanism is the best choice, clearly.

Show me one Muslim who will, or has, removed it, or will say that Mohammad got it wrong...otherwise you lose.

You actually think ahmadinejad is an elected leader? Wow, thank you for demonstrating your demonstrably lack of understanding of not only just basic religious beliefs but also international politics, seriously though do some (*)(*)(*)(*)ing research before even trying to compare Iran's elections to anything other than a complete farce. I'm done here I can't handle the stupid it's just too much you were mildly entertaining at first but now you are just not even worth it.

Yes, you are right about him likely being an election fraud, but you have to admit that the AYATOLLAH, who we can agree holds the real power there, truly believes that the genocidally-inclined Mohammad is the greatest person of all time, correct? You do realize that if a poll was taken in Iran that the genocidally-inclined Mohammad would be considered the greatest role model of all time by the most people in Iran, don't you?

Read the following about BEATING children (4:34 talks about beating wives, so Mohammad wants Muslims to consider beating their entire family), then tell us that Mohammad was a moral person:
"Narrated As-Saburah: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Command a boy to pray when he reaches the age of seven years. When he becomes ten years old, then beat him for prayer."

Islam is the problem now. WWII is over. We have to win this one now.

An Iranian nuke over Tel Aviv, or a "Jewish nuke" over Iran, might be what it takes (unfortunately, of course) for some people to wake up and realize we are in a world war that's inspired by the evils of believing in an invisible friend.

It wouldn't make any sense because the Jews are not attacking us! These people will tear you guys to shreds. Think about it.

Eh, people here believe in invisible friends and they don't cause such havoc. Just something about that culture.

It's not really about their being bad people as it is they have literally declared war on us and now we have to go win it. What more need be said?

If you're talking about Muslims there, then I agree...here's what they ultimately have in store for all you non-believers (unless they will say the Quran is wrong, of course): Quran 9:29: "Shakir: Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection."

You will be second-class citizens, under a brutal Islamic Caliphate. No democracy, no gays (alive at least), no women's equality, no sex outside marriage (unless you like being barried and rocks thrown at you until you die), no equality to Muslims, plenty of torture, no religious freedom, no free speech, no fun. We are in this generation's WWII right now.

I'm trying to refrain from giving your posts any attention, but...

First, there is no proof Iran is developing nuclear weapons. No proof, whatsoever.

Second, nuking" Israel"means nuking millions of Muslims, the Dome of the Rock, and al-Aqsa Mosque.

Third, yet probably most important, the Ayatollah has said, numerous times, nuclear weapons are un-Islamic.

You're obsession with Hitler and Nazism is disturbing. But it certainly does not win you any arguments.

As for your "better belief system", good. Keep it. To yourself.

For somebody so happy with their belief system, you sure seem to spend a lot of time belittling other people's.

Is that a sign of insecurity?

The Ayatollah is just being deceitful, like his role model Allah, "the best of deceivers":
"But they (the Jews) were deceptive, and Allah was deceptive, for Allah is the best of deceivers (Wamakaroo wamakara Allahu waAllahu khayru al-makireena)! S. 3:54; cf. 8:30"

Perhaps someone on this forum is following Allah's lead as well.....

INSECURITY, my friend, is being so morally uncertain that one is not willing to face up to the truth, because one is to scared to....such as not admitting to one's self that Mohammad was immoral because he was a rapist, bandit (Quran 8:41, etc.), pedophile, warlord, cold-blooded killer of his critics, had suicidal tendencies, etc.

You should see this video which shows, from the Islamic texts THEMSELVES, that virtually everything in the "Innocence of Muslims" is indeed TRUE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96yZHycApFU

So would you agree with me that any person who has started a belief system whose writings say to discriminate against (or even kill) Jews is a bad person?
I believe in belief systems that say that, for example, Jews, are equals. Such as modern Secular Humanism. That doesn't sound too much to ask, does it (to not discriminate against Jews, just because they are Jews)?

I use Hitler, and Jesus (approved of slavery, and will see that all Jews are tortured longer than Hitler himself could ever have dreamed of), and Mohammad when trying to describe evil people.

Discriminating against Jews because they are Jews = bad

Discriminating against Muslims because they are Muslims = perfectly acceptable

Both Jews and Muslims have similar Holy Books saying horrible things, both give high regard to slave owners and mass murderers, both worship the same God. Your double standard is laughable, your blatant hypocrisy and picking and choosing facts is the actions of a dishonest person and Your bigotry is no better than the people you are putting up to hate.

The fact that someone who I'm assuming is a Muslim actually came in and said that they believe that what you are portraying as their religion is not how they see it and so you say that they are not following the religion truthfully because of your interpretation which is the same interpretation that of the extremists you are so avidly against so I say to you why would you tell someone that is a Muslim that they are not following their religion right when they don't believe that violence is right so are trying to push them more to be extremists instead of saying that their version of Islam is much preferable to that of the extremists so I'll look past their religion and see them as individuals.

Also all this talk about Secular Humanism yet you have displayed very little of it, you are telling people that they should be more extremist because they believe in some God don't listen when people call you out on this and instead of looking for good individuals you spout this bull(*)(*)(*)(*) rhetoric about Hitler but I would say this you would be the person who would have opened the camps in America where we kept the Japanese because some bigots believed all Japanese people obviously were just alike and because they were they had to be kept in camps.

Sorry if I didn't come across correctly, as yes, I agree with you that Judaism and Islam are both incredibly barbaric.
My point was that Mohammad said to kill/discriminate against the Jews, just because they are Jewish....even to this day Muslims think that that applies.

You really don't get it, do you: SHOW MY ONE MUSLIM WHO WILL SAY THAT MOHAMMAD WAS WRONG TO DO ANY MAJOR THING THAT HE DID! When you can, then we'll talk. SO OBVIOUSLY THEY AGREE WITH THE GARBAGE THAT HE TAUGHT! They can't have it both ways.

Ask them this question: "if, repeat if, Mohammad was indeed a RAPIST as portrayed in that movie trailer, and as supported by the Islamic texts, do you condemn him for that immoral act?" You've never asked Muslims that question, obviously, or you wouldn't believe the way you do. Go ahead, ask them.

I don't believe internment camps are a good idea. They are unfair, just like Mohammad and Jesus condemning billions of people to worse punishment (for doing NOTHING wrong!) than Hitler ever meeted out to the Jews.

You really need to go read ummah.com and learn for yourself what they really believe. It will shock you. Approval of pedophilia, approval of sex slavery, approval of slavery, approval of wife-beating (4:34), approval of women's testimony being worth 1/2 that of a man, etc.

Ok, show me one Muslim that will say Mohammad was wrong when he advocated the killing of critics of Islam. See, they won't do that, that's why they protest more about cartoons of Mohammad, burning their Qur'an, naming a teddy bear "Mohammad", an silly movie about Mohammad, than they ever do about Islamic Jihad.

Mohammad said Jihad (against the Infidel) is the second most important thing for a Muslim to do.

    Two questions for you:
    1. So would you agree with me that any person who has started a belief system whose writings say to discriminate against (or even kill) Jews is a bad person?
    2. I can show you where Jesus and Mohammad taught to treat Jews in an inferior manner, but you can't show me where Richard Dawkins or Sam Harris do the same thing, can you?

There is more proof of that than their is proof that "Allah" exists, of which there is none. No country endures tough sanctions like they are unless they desperately want nukes (to follow through with Mohammad's dream of subjugating all the Jews/Christians under brutal Sharia law.

If "Allah" really listened to prayer, and really cared about Muslims (which of course Muslims believe), then we'd obviously see that Islamic-majority countries would be the most peaceful (they ain't!), the most advanced (they ain't), the wealthiest (nope - Allah failed), have the best education systems (instead of SHOOTING that 14 year old education advocate in Afghanistan!) and are the most scientifically advanced (ha!). But they LAG in all those areas, so clearly this "Allah" creation is not helping them, because he doesn't exist.

I'm not "bigotted" against the people as such, as I want what's best for them, but I do of course dislike the TEXTS of their belief systems, and have a better solution. I care about religious people, but when they wake up from the fantasy world that they live in (dragons, genies, walking on water, talking donkeys, flying horses (Mohammad), etc.) the world will be a much better place than it is now.

Also, people like you are deluded into thinking that religions teach beneficial things, overall....they don't, clearly.
In fact, Jesus taught that it's ok to hate one's mother, father, and even their own children, etc.: "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:26)
Clearly hateful, not loving, just like approving of slavery like he did.
Modern Secular Humanism does not teach to put some cult leader above your own children, clearly.

Then they wouldn't be ''religious people.'' Religions have been around for a long time, and will no doubt be around for a long time to come, although I do believe that eventually they will all be consigned to history books. For the meantime though, you would be better getting used to the idea that people will believe in a god, and concentrating on the positive aspects of religion, rather than the negative aspects.

Doesn't ''secular humanism'' encourage people to think positively?

Sam Harris believes in racial profiling and is a stupid anti-theist bigot. I will never associate myself with him in any way. Though I could say to you because you respect Sam Harris you believe in Racial profiling though this would be stupid an unfounded to assume you do.

Yes I do believe someone saying killing Jews is bad but a lot of Muslims don't think that's what he taught.

How many times have I told you some Muslims believe it was a historical event and doesn't apply now though you constantly overlook this when I tell you.

You act like I have never met a Muslim when I was at college with a few I spoke to them and usually you have a conversation with them instead of asking gotcha questions. It's like me being a fan of the founding fathers and the constitution and someone saying "did you know the founding fathers had slaves and had it in the constitution do you think they were good people now" of course I still think they were very enlightened people of their time though were after all men of their time.

See when you actually speak to them not just ask gotcha questions you'll get a more informed idea where they are. I grew up as a republican in a highly Christian conservative area so I obviously could of just said that they all support genocide in the bible but most don't do that they see things as historic events and sadly they are right. You can look at any time in over 300 years ago and morals will be different slavery was okay people were marrying 12 year old girls, sending armies to kill people was completely normal it's sad but it's true and sorry to say but if you have any historical figures you look up to more than likely they will be bad in some areas. The important thing is is not to let it shape everything you do and if you've ever spoke to a moderate Muslim, Christian or Jew they will not personally support bad things but will think that the historical people in whatever book they believe in was enlightened and progressive for their time.

And who are the people protesting in the region against the taliban? Is it Muslims?

Also is it the Pakistani government paying for her operations while some people in England are telling her to get out like the EDL?

Strange that such evil murder supporting people are caring about this girl maybe because *gasp* some Muslims are good people. Nah that's crazy talk all are pedophiles and want to kill everyone...

This is a legitimate question that any reasonable, moral person could simply answer "yes" to, it's not some "gotcha" question! Not condemning RAPE, that's immoral, and clearly extremist!! Seriously, what's YOUR answer to the question, I'd like to know?
"if, repeat if, Mohammad was indeed a RAPIST as portrayed in that movie trailer, and as supported by the Islamic texts, do you condemn him for that immoral act?"
