Tell me, exactly how much has the US Navy's and Air Force's stocks of munitions and equipment been 'run down' by the war in Ukraine? Answer? Almost zero, with the excretion of some early generation/soon to be decommissioned HARM missiles nothing has been removed from the US Air Forces arsenal and nothing at all from the US Navy's arsenal unless you consider a few coastal patrol launch's critical to the defense of the United States.

Beyond that? US stocks of older ATGMs (Javelins) and MANPADS (Stinger's) have been run down. Stinger is due to be replaced and Javelins are being shifted to a higher rate production cycle to make up for the losses to date. With the only limitation being chip shortages, which are also being made up asap. Same for Excalibur and other 'smart artillery' fuses and HIMARs. Apart from that only mothballed Abrams and Bradley's are being offered, not current front line vehicles.

At worst the US Army and Marines face some potential temporary limitations on the number of ATGMs, MANPADs and 155,mm artilley rounds available for immediate use. And even then the correct term is 'shortages' not unavailability!

Now explain to me how all of that is going to cripple the US's capacity to defend itself from China! Especially given the fact that the any war between the two is going to be primarily fought in the air and on/below the sea!

The Minsk agreements were bound to fail for the fact that zelensky saw it as a means to reunited Ukraine while Putin saw it as an agreement to peel away those areas to have them under Russian control.
