So, what would you think about trucks following this sudden loss? The next time you see your daughter is at her funeral in her coffin. Are you so quick to turn to the laws that allow drivers licenses, or would you be willing to compromise a little to ensure such incidents never happens again. Maybe pass a law outlawing trucks or vehicles over 1000 lb's with a 10 mph governor on them? Who needs to go over 10 mph?

The true question is: When will the Democrats compromise on a bill that will clean up the FID permitting process to weed out nuts, felons and non-citizen foreigners?
There are at least two of these murderers that had well documented mental health problems, yet were allowed to get firearms permits, while a few more were felons who had records of violence.

Also, IMO, the recent past and present FBI leadership put roadblocks on the investigations of several of these "murderers" so that the killings would happen and give the Democrats another excuse to go after the Second Amendment. The FBI version of fast and furious.

Switzerland is likely very culturally homogeneous, probably doesn't have an "under class" responsible for serious crime.

 

Simple. Create a registeration database on behalf of the federal government. This would require law abiding gun owners register all guns once a year. Regsteration would be required upon purchase. The govt then has the model number and the original gun owners information to trace the firearm. Current gun owners would be asked by police to register their firearm, especially if they openly carry. Any firearms used in a malicious manner would be destroyed and considered one less firearm. To maintain this, the govt would need to pass a regulation on the manufacturers of these firearms that requires all of their products have tracking devices embedded and designed so they cannot be tampered with. You want to see how the govt would do this? This is how.
