Yup. I was never on board with the whole Sisko becoming a god/emissary thing. Loved the dominion war though. Great stuff. Different tone/vibe. TNG is my fav series of Trek however.

Well from what I gathered his mother was a wormhole alien or one of the prophets and that's why she disappeared. But I have to say captain Cisco was a badass. Not saying Picard wasn't

I just could never get into DS9

I will always be partial to TOS, but the top 10 eps of TNG blow away the TOS 10 best. The cliffhanger when the Borg captured Picard was just an exceptional episode

Think it's Sisko with an S. And yeah, he was a bad ass. But my favorite player on DS9 was Garak.

Because your post was in response to:

The character is Captain Picard. The Actor that portrays Picard is Patrick Stewart. How can anyone not think you were referring to Patrick Stewart? You then went on to posting of pic of Stewart kissing Ian McKellan.

I am one of those people that think the only actor to portray Captain Picard on STNG is Patrick Stewart. When you are in a thread specifically discussing STNG and responding to someone saying Captain Picard was queer as a three dollar bill I assume you are discussing Patrick Stewart.

To top it all off if you doubled down with the pic instead of clarifying right away.

TOS has a certaint type of romance to it because of the time period it was made. I don't even like the special effects updates the Netflix versions have. I like my Original Series to be as 60's/70's as possible.

    Plus Kirk had swag.

yeah I didn't specifically say anybody was LGBT.

    You asked.

I didn't need to clarify. You assumed something not in text.

Yes, they always teased fans with the potential for a relationship between the two. Vash was the other character that Picard seemed to have a promising relationship with. I wish they did more with her character because I really liked it. I think it will be interesting to see what happens in the final season of Picard. Will they do a love triangle thing with Laris and Crusher. To be honest I really hope they do not. It should be the final time we see Picard and I hope they have him going out in a heroic fashion or with a simple positive ending when he finally has family. No trashy soap opera stuff.

Absolutely nothing about Picard is interesting that show is an abortion.

It's member berries sandwiched between a bunch of BS.

Vosh had an appearance on deep space nine as far as I'm concerned that's the end of Star Trek.

I watched a few episodes of Voyager and a few episodes of enterprise they were all right but they never captured that whatever it was that deep space nine and next generation had.

    Discovery and Picard are unwatchable.

You said the actor in response to someone talking about Captain Picard.

So who was this actor that you were talking about that had to do tongue kisses every episode?

Picard show is not canon in my eyes. Whatever happens is irrelivant. He's like some old android who gets talked down to by every damn female on the show. It's woke garbage trying to over compensate for straight white male privledge. I hate it.

    The sheer ****ing hubris...

I am not going to defend the quality of Picard. I have raised countless criticisms of the show on the Trek forums and reddits. As a fan of Trek I was happy to see the NG characters again. I still look forward to final season and seeing more of the original cast. I hope they end the series well.

and you mistakenly assume I was talking about a specific actor.
    any actor playing any role.

I've told you more than once that it wasn't specific I can't help it if you don't accept that reality.

It was great. But the best episode though was Trials and Tribulations. This episode blew my mind with fan service.

Frankly I’m sick and tired gratuitous gay and transsexual scenes in the modern movies. If it’s part of the plot, great. If it’s stuck in to please the woke crowd, I can do without it.

It reminds me of wokesters who complain about Gone With the Wind. Here is some revised lines that could please the wokesters.

Rhett Butler - “You know, Scarlet, that Fredrick Douglas has the right idea. I’m going subscribe to The Liberator and knock on doors for the Lincoln for president campaign. What do ya think?”

Scarlet - “Why Rhett that’s the most inspiring idea I’ve ever heard. I bet pa will liberate all of our slaves and get the whole community to join in. Before you know it, slavery will be gone with wind!”

Add in a couple gay Confederate soldiers, make one of Scarlet’s sisters a transsexual and have Ashley Willks marry Uncle Peter instead of Mellon and Gone With the Wind will be as woke as the left think it should be.

    you can't there isn't any.
I think that's the worst part about it cuz they're taking these excellent beloved characters that I grew up with and ******** on them with this absolute crap.
the final season was season 7 of deep space nine.

Picard Discovery this is all zombie Star Trek it's a reanimated corpse of what it used to be hopeless dark brooding hateful piece of **** like everything else.

It is total garbage and it's a mockery.
