There's no 'stay in lockdown' here. That's what America does, by ignoring the single case.

Actually there are 400 people hospitalised, in ONE city.

Even the best healthcare system (and ours is one of the best in the world) is going to start to struggle.

When our lockdowns end, we return to normal (as in, not even wearing masks). America still hasn't done that, in 18 months.

All of our lockdowns end, when they're done right. Sometimes they're only three days.

It may have escaped your notice but car accidents aren't 'contagious', one does not become four, then sixteen etc. Again, try to grasp the fact its not now that's the issue its what the number of cases will be if nothing is done now. And as for getting out of lock down there is a plan. When we hit the 70% fully vaccinated rate we anticipate restrictions start being eased off. By Christmas, all things going according to that plan, we're there.

Not me. People don't trust arbitrary use of power. Vaccines require trust.

Fortunately the Delta variant is encouraging people to get the jab. Vaccination rates are up 200% is some red States, which had lowest number before Delta. As for lock-downs, - not really an issue at this time.

DR Vladimir Zelenko explain to politicians that the vaccine is another holocaust, but this time by their own hand (Israel is the most vaccinated country in the world).

It is genocide, but it is not anti Semitic.

...what is there more to say...what is there more to talk when no one wants to talk about the genocide committed by politicians and ignored by the mainstream media and big tech...go home and prep, but first make sure you prepare spiritually

    Matthew 25

    A Story About Ten Bridesmaids
25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to wait for the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The five foolish bridesmaids took their lamps, but they did not take more oil for the lamps to burn. 4 The wise bridesmaids took their lamps and more oil in jars. 5 Because the bridegroom was late, they became sleepy and went to sleep.

6 “At midnight someone cried out, ‘The bridegroom is coming! Come and meet him!’ 7 Then all the bridesmaids woke up and got their lamps ready. 8 But the foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’ 9 The wise bridesmaids answered, ‘No, the oil we have might not be enough for all of us. Go to the people who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

10 “So while the five foolish bridesmaids went to buy oil, the bridegroom came. The bridesmaids who were ready went in with the bridegroom to the wedding feast. Then the door was closed and locked.

11 “Later the others came back and said, ‘Sir, sir, open the door to let us in.’ 12 But the bridegroom answered, ‘I tell you the truth, I don’t want to know you.’

13 “So always be ready, because you don’t know the day or the hour the Son of Man will come.

That's NOT the reason so many are unvaccinated. The vast majority are desperate to get their jabs, but the Govt failed to secure the quantities needed. It can be virtually impossible to book a shot, and many people end up having to wait months. It's particularly difficult for people under 60 - and the younger you are the harder it is to get.

So every time a flood, hurricane or other national disaster happens in the US and State of Federal Guard troops are called in to assist with the emergency is that 'martial law'? Because in your estimation if it is? Well you only have two options:

    1) Its OK when US governments (State or Federal) temporarily impose martial law for a specific purpose in particular areas but not OK when another country does it?

    2) Its not OK when the US does it (and yet the US does it quite often.) And, that being the case if the price is that hundreds or thousands of your fellow citizens die as a result well that's 'their' problem. The State should never intervene in emergencies.

    So which is it?

Noting BTW that we only have 300 soldiers deployed, none are armed, none have police powers and so far all they've been doing is delivering groceries and assisting with door knocks for welfare checks on people who are supposed to be in quarantine. So if you think that is an example of 'the iron grip of marshal law' I'm sorry but it seems to be a pretty limp wristed version.

LOL! Have you the faintest concept of what constitutes martial law? It is defined as "military government, involving the suspension of ordinary law".

The Wikipedia goes on to describe it as -

"Martial law is the temporary imposition of direct military control of normal civil functions or suspension of civil law by a government, especially in response to a temporary emergency where civil forces are overwhelmed, or in an occupied territory."

It is advisable to use the language accurately if one is to have a sensible discussion.

"Martial law is an extreme and rare measure used to control society during war or periods of civil unrest or chaos. According to the Supreme Court, the term martial law carries no precise meaning (Duncan v. Kahanamoku, 327 U.S. 304, 66 S. Ct. 606, 90 L. Ed. 688 [1946]). However, most declarations of martial law have some common features. Generally, the institution of martial law contemplates some use of military force. To a varying extent, depending on the martial law order, government military personnel have the authority to make and enforce civil and criminal laws. Certain civil liberties may be suspended, such as the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures, freedom of association, and freedom of movement. And the writ of Habeas Corpus may be suspended (this writ allows persons who are unlawfully imprisoned to gain freedom through a court proceeding)."

"Authorities in Australia have called in the military to occupy parts of Sydney and enforce the country’s latest draconian COVID-19 lockdown."

    Shoe seems to fit.

Only if your wearing toddler shoes. Which you seem to be doing.

    Quoting your post ;

'Generally, the institution of martial law contemplates some use of military force. To a varying extent, depending on the martial law order, government military personnel have the authority to make and enforce civil and criminal laws. Certain civil liberties may be suspended, such as the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures, freedom of association, and freedom of movement. And the writ of Habeas Corpus may be suspended (this writ allows persons who are unlawfully imprisoned to gain freedom through a court proceeding).'

OK then, point to exactly where in Australia you think it is that Australia is using 'military force'. You've been repeatedly told the troops are unarmed but apparently that point still eludes you. Then point to where the few soldiers that have been deployed 'have the authority to make and enforce civil and criminal laws '. Again you've been repeatedly told they have no police or law enforcement powers whatsoever, and again it doesn't seem to have registered!

You've also been told they have no power of search and seizure and that all normal legal rights afforded to citizens (with the exception of association) are still in place. And even in that case the only reason it's been suspended due to an outbreak of a highly infectious disease.

Lastly you still haven't addressed the questions I asked you in post 194 above. Could it be you have no answer? Because to date, based on your assertions in this thread at least you certainly seem to have no clue.

    LOL - Summit News!

Which is defined by Mediabiasfactcheck.com as a questionable source - "A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency and/or is fake news."

"Launched in March 2019, Summit News is a far-right conspiracy website. Like most questionable sources this website does not have an about page nor disclosure of ownership. The primary writer appears to be Paul Joseph Watson, who is a former editor for the conspiracy website Infowars. Although not disclosed, Paul Joseph Watson appears to be the owner and editor of this website. Further, Summit News has been banned on Facebook."

All true, but I'd give up. As soon as you call 'Toughie' on the obvious contradictions, false statements and/or conspiratorial nature of his posts he disappears from the thread. Pretty much classic conspiracy theorist/loon behavior.

Maaaate! We don’t HAVE enough troops to effectively declare martial law

And THEY aware spread out around the country

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Army

Plus our army is not just a fighting force - they have assisted with natural disasters, peacekeeping and humanitarian endeavours

    https://www1.defence.gov.au/operations/opcovid19-assist

So, the person you might have swabbing your nose when you touchdown at the airport could be wearing an ADF uniform.
