But again...they too have to wear masks when they go into a business. The whole point of a power hungry dictator is to force others to do something you don't have to do at all. That just isn't the case here. Some people are just more over cautious than others. Last week a plumber came to our place to do some work. Due to his companies rules he had to wear a mask. To be courteous, I ask him if he wanted me to wear a mask to which he said no. Then yesterday a different plumber came out. Again, I asked if he wanted me to wear a mask to which he said yes. Point being is some people are very paranoid about COVID while others (me) are not.

 

Because COVID knows not to spread itself at birthday parties! Smart virus, that rascally COVID.

It it wasn’t the same people politicizing all of this and fearmongering it, it would be different.

the helmet question is a good one, because i have worked in shipyards where hard hats are required. if a destroyer were to fall off the blocks i doubt that the hard hat would render much comfort. maybe i should have lectured the captain about muh rights?
