Tucker is right. Mask wearing is a tool of control by power hungry wannabe dictators. They have used executive power to try to control us and we let them. There is no rational for mask wearing out doors. We are sad that too many meekly gave up too many rights and freedoms. We are grateful to red state governors and legislators who have re opened their economies and ended or never had mask mandates.

Really. You sound over paranoid bordering on a mental issue like OCD or worse. Do you wear a helmet all day long walking around because there IS a chance, no matter how minuscule, you can fall and crack your head open. Just like you can get struck by lighting walking your dog on a sunny day.

Let’s play a math game. What is the statistical probability of contracting Covid on a beach while social distancing without a mask? And what if you’re actually vaccinated? Because by whatever logic you’re using, it seems you feel that no matter how insignificant the possibility we should still mask up forever in every situation?

Where is the line? When is a statistical impossibility enough for you? Do you eat, because you can choke every time you swallow. Do you weigh those odds every bite or do you not consider them due to their insignificance?

By the way I wear a mask in every social situation or out in public where I’m indoors and can’t control distance to people. But I’ll be fully vaccinated in a few days. At that point if I’m outdoors, no more mask EVER because I trust the science. Whatever insignificant chance there is to catch it at this point is not a concern anymore. And if I didn’t care about the social effect on others I wouldn’t wear a mask indoors anywhere either because I’m statically immune, meaning the chance of infection is far too small for it to be a concern. Unless the disease changes, then we all reevaluate.

 

We've seen many of the politicians wear their mask for the cameras, then take them off as soon as they think the cameras aren't rolling.

I don't wear a mask unless I have to when I go into a business. I think having to wear masks is ridiculous. But based on your argument I feel compelled to ask...do you say the same thing to those that carry a gun in public? What is the statistical probability of one needing a gun to protect themselves in public? Because by whatever logic you’re using, it seems you feel that no matter how insignificant the possibility one should still carry a gun in every situation?
Point being, everyone has a comfort level. Whether that's wearing a mask around people or wearing a gun around people.

Good question albeit a completely different scenario. 2A gives people that right. And those legally carrying a gun statically will NEVER shoot anyone innocent and it will never impact anyone else anyhow. The guy carrying next to you does not impact your life at all. Laws requiring you to wear a mask when it is nearly a scientific impossibility does impact your life.

And those who do carry all the time are indeed paranoid. And that’s their right. The thing is those who carry never ask anyone else to change how they live to make them conformance. Carrying a gun effects NO ONE except on super rare situations where it saves a life. Mask Nazis want everyone around them to change how they live forever to make them feel safe. There is a difference. Your analogy would make more sense if NRA members who carry wanted to force everyone else to carry too. That is not the case.

The point was about YOU bringing up the statistical probability of someone getting COVID if they didn't wear a mask. In that regard, my question about those carrying a gun was a spot on analogy.
