Not defending Biden at all. Just pointing out it's not authoritative for his wanting to keep people (in his mind) safe. I have also spoken out against those who claimed Trump was authoritative. Again, not defending Trump himself but pointing out his actions were not authoritative.

 

I've never believed in unlimited power for a president, unlike Trumpists. However, the federal government can have rules for their own property. In one breath you ask where you've said that they can't make up such rules for their own property, in the next you claim it is "authoritarianism" for them to do so. Make up your mind. Which is it. This is what I'm talking about when it comes to fake indignation. There's not even a coherent complaint.

What statistical probability of vaccinated people catching Covid from other vaccinated people? C'mon!! And being a pain in the ass is the most basic example of impacting people's lives. People carrying guns around you while you NEVER know, impacts NO ONE's lives and isn't a pain in the ass either=)

Care to guess the probability of an unarmed innocent black person getting shot and killed by police? Then compare that seriousness with the perception these nutbags are pushing.

Here's MORE math. There are 42 million black people in the US. 20 unarmed black people were killed by police. Raise it to 30 if you want. What are the odds? And in nearly all the cases, those that got shot were resisting arrest too, some attacking police while unarmed. You want to talk some real BS insanity. DESTROY and overhaul the entire country over that statistical threat? Are you OUT OF YOUR MIND? Biden issued an order telling people in Fed buildings and land that they should follow the CDC guidelines for wearing mask. If you would actually read it for yourself you would know this.

No Fed Employee union had an issue with the EO.

 

Even when I was in Local 34 (piledrivers, dock and wharf building union) they did not order me to wear special clothing.
I have been in a few unions that did not order me to wear particular garments.
